If you do a 510 wagon, make sure you do the custom square (actually rectangular) headlights. IMHO, it works best with the wagon as it works with the squareness of the car.

Vicki, my father had a '56 jag roadster. Gorgeous car, but a true lemon.

I like the Volvo P1800 too. Especially the wagon. Great choice.sexy car. Another american car to consider is an AMC javelin/amx. Unusual and fun.

Other fun project cars to consider are BMW 2002 tii, if you can find one, or an early Audi Quattro GT coupe ( ur-quattro). A little more expensive, but very popular among enthusiasts,

Very nice choice Rex. I never even thought about the 1800es. Very nice looking wagon in my opinion.

Thanks but "I Need $$$" mentioned it first. I just posted the pics, cause were guys, we have to "see" it :D. I had forgotten all about this car. My Dad had one in the early 90's, and I should have never let him sell it, but he did buy it to sell/make a profit and he did. The list of cars my Dad or brother has had that I would like to own is TOO long. Just a few samples - 57 Bel Air Convert, 63 Split Window, 69 & 70 510's, 1600 Roadster, Mazda 323 GTX. Oh, I used to have a Vega wagon - whoopie :rolleyes.

Kinda sucks that my best friend (40) had a 72 510 wagon as his car through high school and college. They sold it only a few years ago to make space in the barn. Found out his parents would have given it to me. Damn thing was mostly rust free and ran:(
