ACT uses Exedy Clutch Discs. I had an ACT Street/Strip but it became weak and now i have a Exedy Stage 2. Exedy has a much stiffer pedal and the 3 Puck Disc is a little harsh but drivable. Im happy with the Exedy.

Dont trust the Torque ratings from ACT. My Street/Strip clutch was rated at 360tq or something and it slipped badly with 300tq. Disc wasnt wore out but the pressure plate had tons of heat spots on it. Exedy FTW. If i wear out my Exedy Stage II, then ill be going to Exedy Twin Plate.

I have a heavy duty street/strip 3 puck exedy clutch that i love. Pedal is a little stiff and took a little time to get used to. but its a real nice clutch.

I'm rocking the exedy stage 1 disc with OEM pressure plate and such....I also upgraded the the clutch line to SS....No complaints here....I will be getting Stage 2 when my power upgrades start happening....I don't like clutches with that on/off feel to them...

Exedy Stage II has that on/off feel for the most part. The feel of it makes the ACT Heavy Duty clutch feel light. It does chatter on engagement so i wouldnt want it on a daily driver.

I like my exedy 3 puck, i cant compare it to ACT but exedy grabs great. Yeah the only prob is the chatter but other than that i love it.

from what i've heard is that ACT doesnt make sprung clutches for sr's which isn't recomended for daily driving. i have an exedy stage 2 and the pedal actualy feels really soft. engagement is AWSOME, but takes a bit of driving to really get used to it.

ACT does make Sprung 4 puck and 6 puck designs. MYSR20.com sells them. I was gonna buy another ACT but was told my multiple drifters and drag racers to go Exedy. If your in doubt, always talk to those local into motorsports.
