There are several different T3 and several different T04E's. Not trying to be nit-picky here, but I think it would be beneficial to start learning to be more specific when discussing turbos.

For 300 Max HP, you're not going to be running into critically large amounts of boost with any T4 compressor. You can probably afford a bit of resistance and get good spool characteristics. I would really evaluate yourelf and determine if you may look to be increasing the boost later. If this is the case, I'd err a bit bigger/better efficiency just to give yourself a little headroom later.

If you want to take a safe approach, find yourself a T04E 50 Trim compressor as it will cover a broad range of boost levels quite well. For the exhaust side, I'd probably stick with at least a Stage 3 trim (I'd be quick to use a Stage 5 myself if I had to use a T3 turbine). A/R will fine tune the boost response, but even some of the larger A/R's should still spool reasonably well. It's much cheaper and easier to swap out just the turbine housing so if you ended up wanting a different A/R later, it would make things easier on you. Changing a turbine trim will force you to minimally disassemble and rebuild the wheels, perhaps get them balanced, etc, etc. I tend to favor larger turbines for my use though so a Stage 3 for me would be rather small (I ran a T4 turbine when I had a KAT).
