This is an awesome sounding VG (I think it's a VG), it reminds me of the Fed-Ex 300zx on Gran Turismo 2, only it's in real life.

Um. Yes.

I swear.. the Subie sucks on the turns compared to my S13 ( i haven't done anything to the suspension yet besides eibach pro kit) but I drive the Subie more because the boxer's engine note with a UEL header and Stromung cat-back is intoxicating (would be even better if it was turbo).

I think I remember someone making a thread similar to this one before.

I still really love the "potato potato" sound of a Harley Davidson V-twin, even though I don't like Harleys.

There is something to like about engines that aren't designed to be perfect; Harley's fit into this catagory, and so do Italian made Laverda Jota 180 triples.

In the Laverda 180, the two outer pistons move in sync, while the lonely center piston moves opposite of them, just like an inline-four with the #3 cylinder removed. It's not powerful compared to nowadays technology, but I don't care, it's awesome stuff. Later, Laverda went with a more common 120-120-120 crank layout for the triples, which kind of diluded them, but even those are cool.

Here's a Jota 180 on a dyno:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=woVk1sHhKnM104.5 whp @ 7800 rpm

Had never heard of this bike before, thanks for the video. Love the way it sounds, especially around 3-4K RPM.
