The first question that I have is where to buy the silver Infiniti 4 piston brakes? I have a 2009 M45S, is this a direct bolt on to the M?

I saw this on a previous thread as I am now researching this kit for myself since my new wheels clear BBK!!! However, not in a hurry my Ebay kit is doing just fine with over 25k miles on them... :gotme
Just fyi: everyone is fitting the g35/g37 bbk on our cars! They don't have a specific one for the M!! So when you go to the Website, click on the g35/g37 accessories and then"brakes" the complete kit without SS lines is about $1500! Pretty good for the complete set front and rear!! It's the first one on the list!!
Good luck!

Thanks for the help. I am running the stock wheels for now (even though I HATE these damn tram lining Bridgestone tires). Will the G37 sport calipers clear the stock M45S wheels?

You will need at least 15mm spacers to make the BBK fit the stock 19's. I'd recommend 20mm ones though.

Why do you need a "bog brake kit", are you driving in swamps?

If you can wait a few weeks, I'll be selling the kit off my M. With brand new in box infiniti g37s front and rear blanks and project mu pads all around.

I'll even throw in my Stoptech drill slotted rotors if you want to get them turned and reuse them.

I do not see ebay having a better price, the kit on the above mentioned website has brakes, rotors, calipers, hardware, etc. to do the whole job...

The kit is still on the M. The car is being reverted to stock on the 12th and 26th.I can take pictures of them on. From behind the rim. As I mentioned on another post, we're having triplets, and could really use the money. So converting back to stock is the most efficient thing to do now.

The kit includes all 4 calipers, and every single piece of hardware. My kit is also running Project Mu B-Force pads all around and Stoptech drill/slotted rotors all around.

Keep in mind that the B-Force the the next grade up for Project Mu. Every one sell the Project Mu kit with the NS pads which are the lowest grade (but still 100x better the oem).

So you get everything that's on my car now, except the brakes lines. Plus 4 brand new in box Infiniti g37s rotors, and a brand new set (front & rear) of Project Mu B-Force pads.

My local Nissan dealer will resurface the drill slotted Stoptechs for $40 if you bring them in yourself. So you'll have a spare set of rotors.

Oh..if I can find it, I should have the Akebono silver touch up paint the dealer gave me when I got the brakes. In case you need to touch them up and dont plan on haveing them painted some custom color.

I'm asking $1200 for everything, plus $100 for shipping to the 48. ConceptZ is asking $1611 plus $120 for shipping so $1731.

PM me if your interested.

You can piece the kits together yourself much cheaper than retail all in one... hell you can use the nissan gold brembos with Z1 brackets for under 1k... I personally like the Akebono kits from the G37... Do a google, I believe on g35driver there is a post talking about part numbers etc for piecing together a big multi pot brake setup, with Akebono parts, think he had the same setup as G37 all said and done around $700. Stay tuned once we get off the ground and flesh stuff out with Greg, we'll be doing some massive discounts on BBKs for Ms...

I did a quick search and couldnt find the thread, Ill look some more later today though. I am definitely interested in this though, and will probably go that route when my front brakes need changing again. It looks like I can buy some OEM 2009-2012 G37 4 piston calipers for about $300 each. Will these 2009 calipers fit right onto our cars without any new bracket mounting stuff or do we need that too? I also think I remember hearing we need 10 or 15mm spacers to make the larger calipers fit the stock sport wheels, is that correct?

It will fit and you will need spacers to clear the 19"

Check out this thread...

I know it is long as hell, but guys in here got their price down to $750 all in...

http://my350z.com/forum/brakes-and-susp ... bbk-4.html

The only issue I see for a DIY'r is the brackets, but they can be bought at Z1, I think.

Good luck!

I was disappointed as well... I have an account with wildwood and was planning on this after summer... hoping for an even better deal... but s***, all said and done, $1300 isnt a bad retail price for a kit.

Here it is. All four calipers, 4 brand new Infiniti rotors, brand new project Mu B-Force brake pads for the front and rear, and rear stainless brakes.

Calipers have all the components, shims, clips, etc.

Let me know.
