I recently discovered a problem with one of my Endura Tech coilovers on my convertible and tried contacting Endura Tech. I couldn't get through to anyone. Didn't really give it much thought because the car's been down. Anyways, I tried getting on their website today and it's completely blank. It doesn't even go to one of those sites when the license expires - it's just a blank white page. I tried calling a local distributor and they said they haven't been able to get a hold of anyone for for about two months.

Does anyone know what's going on? Tsunami?

Second question: Does anyone know where I might be able to find parts? Whether it's someone that sells parts or has stock or something. I need the lower part that the body threads into- the part that bolts onto the bottom of the spindle. Any help would be appreciated.

I thought about posting in the Advertiser Marketplace, but I didn't want my thread deleted.

Ouch, wonder what the deal is.

Have you tried Google to see if there is buzz on any other forums or anything?

Just brings up coilovers for subarus... and then the pages return error messages because they pulled the products.

Weird. I did some searching on NASIOC and the local Subie board. I found nothing out of the ordinary. I know those guys love the Endura-Tech stuff. If they have dropped off the map I am surprised they aren't freaking out.

Make sure to have all the Nico crew that are going to Sema keep their eyes and ears peeled, Im pretty sure they had a booth there last year.

Well, I did some more sleuthing and found the parent companies for Endura-Tech: NHK INTEX Coproration and their parent company NHK Sales Co., LTD.

So I sent an email to NHK Sales Co via their "Contact Us" link last night. Tonight I checked my email and received the following reply:
Thank you for your interest in the Endura-Tech Products and having used our coilovers.

Unfortunately we stopped manufacturing and selling the coilovers, tower bars and replacement springs in early 2011 due to the increased material cost as well as the unfavorable exchange rate to us between Japanese Yen value and US dollars.

In early July we ceased posting the website homepage.

If you have any other questions, please let us know.

Best regards,
Katsuo ken Matsubara
NHK Intex Corporation
So now we know.

It's time to Frankenstein some rear coilovers then...
