I wanted a fastback, but I ended up getting a coupe. I like it alot now. The appeal really does grow on you.

You shouldn't have a problem finding a fastback in LA though.

i live in california in the bay area. Fastbacks are so easy to find here, but the coupe is so freaking scarce, a 5spd one that is.

too many fastbacks here in virginia. i prefer the style of the coupe. That could be my love of the sylvia styling over the 180 styling showing through though :D

I think he was asking about purchasing not seeing. I live in san francisco i can hardly ever find a 89-93 coupe in the classifies. http://www.craigslist.com is one of the best search engines for cars where i live. Even that couldn't help me find a coupe. O well...

The coupe is the superior of the two anyways. There are 2 hatch 240's and my coupe at my house.

Mmmmmm sweet sweet coupe. How can you want a hunch back over a sweet sexy coupe. :D The only thing I miss about my hatch is the room to haul stuff. :batman

The thing I loved about my fastback is when you lay down the back seat, then lay down the front seat, and open the hatch, you can carry a load of 20 2x4s back to the house from Home Depot. I know most of you could care less about that but it is important to those of us that are non-truck owning home owners......

my hatch is sittin outside missing me... and at first glance, i knew i wanted a hatch. butafter i bought it i saw so many coupes that it started to grow on me. but then i thought about how much fun i have in my hatch and they way it looks more 'sporty' and i realized i like hatches more

thats wrong, coupes are definatly lighter (depending on options). Probably a typo, 2628 (6 instead of 7) sounds closer (2657 according to carpoint)

It might just be worth it to go to LA to get one. I got mine for like $650 from some random dude from the recycler. If I found one cheap you can probably find a few really cheap out here, then make a weekend of it and come look at like 4-5 of them at once. ( over the weekend that is) -Jeromy
