it was in a running car, if the condition was unkown it would have only been $150, i tried to rub off the "motor good" writing on it, but it didnt work lol. but i am rebuilding it anyway, needs to be bored for thems forged pistons

only problem was its FWD, but it wasnt that difficult to get the **** to convert it.

As of tommorow I will be taking over the sales/customer service position at JHOT and I honestly hope to help out as much as I can.

Im glad to hear good things about JHOT but if someone had a bad experience let me know so we can better ourselves for the future.

nice

i am planning on getting the 1jz from a mark II jzx81 that on egay right now, but im waiting on compression test results and a shipping quote to 96107 (business)

the only thing is the outside bits look a bit corroded, and no slick coilpack cover, but it has a downpipe, and all the stock IC piping and extra wiring, and the wierd hydro fan resovior

*but* if the engine is clean internally, ill just wipe it off, or whatever else to clean it up (gives me an excuse to polish the valve covers .... maybe)

i am in teh market for a JZX81 1JZ-GTE with auto transmission

and this one has a dump pipe and both throttle body cables (pedal and cruise control) and the stock IC and piping (have an apexi front mount i scanvenged from a chaser in japan)

its going into my X83 cressida..... manual swap later on

if you can get any of the info (shipping, compresission test results) or a cleaner-looking? engine from a JZX81 (definatly need an 81 for the engine mount brackets) please email me tyrannix at gmail (trying to do under $1400 shipped.... with a little bit of wiggle room)

I second JHOT being a GREAT company. I bought an exhaust from them and they had amazing customer service. Would definitely consider buying a motor from them.

Venus. Front cut, shipped for $1700. Was supposed to be complete and include SMIC and the piping, but it didn't. I couldn't ever get them to send me the piping.

Wouldn't do business with again unless it was REALLY cheap.

CA18DET RWDComplete car - 90 200sxLemon lot on the US Naval Support Site, Naples, Italy$1000

I would most definitely do it again. I look on that lot everytime I go to the Commissary (grocery store) or Exchange (military Walmart). There is an Italian guy that works there who has a 98 S14. I keep hassling him about selling it, but he won't give in, lol.

Got my CA18DET here in Montreal from a company called JDMRACINGMOTORS. Top notch company. I will be doing business with them again for sure as they are the best people Ive met so far. Paid 1000$ Can. for engine/transmission/ecu and uncut wiring harness. Even got a three puck Nismo ceramic/metal clutch with it! REALLY good condition engine.

S13 CA18DET RWDMotor set with loom and ECU (AFM, sadly, had been cut out)Nagasaki JDM Motors (nagasakijdmmotors.com)$900 + $300 Shipping US-wide, so $1200 to my door!Great customer service, would do business again!

Pros: The engine has about 40k on it, in pretty good condition, clean.

Cons: Harness had AFM cut off (thats cool, its going in my CA16DE EXA anyway, so i'm using that harness and AFM), had a slight issue with not getting the ECU (wasnt shipped with motor, called them up, they had it shipped right out)

Overall, a good transaction in my opinion. Would buy from them again.
