A good way to understand the headlight beam pattern is to park about 10-20 feet from a blank white wall {garage door} and examine the light beam pattern that is shown on the wall-you can easily see how it is a streight line that sharply rises to the right - the jdm is the reverse of this,it rises on the left side

Besides not blinding other drivers, our right side kickup is designed to help illuminate steet signs and deer eyes in the woods on the sholder of road

Here is my setup. 19x9.5 all the way around with +15 offset. No rubbing and I'm lowered. I have also run the equivelant of 19x9 with a +5 with no issues.

Here is a pick of my current setup.

Dont have any really close up pics but you can see the flushness best from these angles. Second shot is a cell phone pic sorry for the poor quality.

Looks very nice. But is that able to be achieved on a G50?

Forgive my "arm chair" summation, but he's running a stretched tire (my guess 235) and a little bit of extra camber on the rear at least.

Also, the Y33 "tolerates" a lower offset than the G50.

Ok. As hard as I've tried, I can't seem to grasp the concept of these tire numbers.

I can't correctly visualize the numbers and their fitment on a wheel. I wish I could just be a quick draw like you guys. I know the diameter part, but the 255/65 part is the part that gets me confused.

Spend a couple hours in our Wheels/Tires sub-forum and it's stickies as well as reading TireRack's Tech section http://www.tirerack.com/tires/...h.jsp

Here's a quick break downTire: 245/45/18 = 245 millimeters tread width, the side wall is 45% of the tread width, and 18" diameter opening for the wheel.

Wheel: 19x8.5 +15 = 19" diameter wheel, 8.5 " wide and the wheel mounting surface (mounts against the rotor/hub) is 15 mm from the center, as shown in the pic.

Negative offset wheels will have a very deep dish look, but few cars if any can support a negative offset wheel.

And neither for performance nor safety!
