Yes i know this is gen chat, i posted in the wheels/suspension section too but this gets WAY more traffic.

Ok heres the deal, ive decided on which wheels i want for my car. Just for reference its a black s13 coupe. I have decided on Rota D2's in gold, yes I know knockoffs and what not, but its my choice, my money, and my car so please dont try to change my mind. What im wondering is should I run a 17x8.5 +20 with a 10mm spacer, or a 18x9 +30 with a 10mm spacer. Tires will be the same price either way (from my work) and theres only a few $ difference in the wheels. Now for my 2nd question if i run the 18's should i run 225 40 18 or should i run more stretch? I already know i will have to roll the fenders at least, possibly a pull, im not quite sure. I will be tracking my car but most of the time it will be my DD, and if it matters i have Stance GR+ coilovers and fully adjustable suspension arms.

thanks guys

IMHO 18" wheels rarely look good on S13s, most of the time they look way too big, it takes a lot of bodywork to make an S13 look right with 18"s. Get the 17"s, my 2 cents.

17's look better on s13's in most cases and the 17's have better offsets And about wheels i would go with 215 or 225 depending on how much you're lowering your car and how much stretch you want.

as far as s13's go... personally, 17's for performance, 18's for looks w/ aero. All the D1 guys run 18's..

Werd... 18's FTW..

( Pay no attention to the Sunroof wind guard acting like a roof spoiler, my dad put it there lol... )

(Car has been lowered much more since this next Picture.. and Wheels were spaced out to -1 Front -2 Rear.)

LOL Heres how low. ( I have to Pull Front and rear Fenders to fit the 18's thats why there not on the car as of right now...)

You givin me lip?
