random but totally appropriate appearance.

as for the neon...just like every car there are ricers and non ricers. i mean i'm sure they're fast but it seems like majority of the owners of the neon are white boy ricers and the car doesn't win in the looks department either...the blue one up there is one of the better ones at least.

I have been in the scene for long enough to know that Neons are a joke SRT4 or otherwise.

All I remember is the original commercial for the first neon....HI. Little ugly *** things. Ok, so it looks better than other ones, but, why a NEON???

And this is a Nissan site...Dont showcase your Dodge, showcase your 240sx and show us what your doing with that...Bet its not gonna be unricer.

he's right it is just a neon.. just with a nice factory kit... all disc bigger brakes...better suspension... and a really big 4cyl with a turbo... bang for the buck.. I couldn't afford a EVO or STI like some of my friends but wanted to be faster so i got the SRT.. and with me driving a few more upgrades esp in the tire and suspension because spinning is a problem in a 300hp fwd 3000lbs car... it's one of the quickest cars around.. killing evo's and even a few corvettes when I'm out playing... but this guy has no life and only beleives that what he has or wants equals up to anything.. me I love all cars even a geo metro once

ugh people like you ar what ruin the car enthusiasts that care about performance.

FWD isnt the ****tiest thing around. I know a number of FWD cars that would wipe your *** on a race track.

i think this is a new bash on SRT-4 thread though....

honestly.. alot of the srt-4 guys i've meet are real buttplugs.. but i just love cars and had the chance to get one when they were new and got it.. i see alot of problems with the cars and alot of good...

The cars what the driver/owner makes it.. and one more thing that makes me a different srt-4 owner is im 26.. all the others i know are 17-20.. kids will be kids

and how is it not american muscle? it's a domestic 4 door car that will run 13.0 in the 1/4.. it's just a up to date 28mpg version of american muscle.. consider yourself slapped

i agree the neon is a modern muscle car isn some sense of the phrase. if you look at original muscle cars when of them were very plain looking and looked similar to other family cars from the same manufacturer. the srt4 is exactly that

^ugh idk i consider gto, charger, challenger, camaro, corvette, even a mustang v8 american muscle. i dont count a four banger turboed neon and or a escort as american muscle. they are like american tuners.

Except that the Neon SRT-4 has more horsepower than 90% of the original "muscle cars". 4 banger or not, it's got muscle.

Unfortunately it is still a Neon and it just can't escape it's econo-car heritage.

i meant the new versions of all those cars.... i think they all have more horsepower in top trim as well.

i agree, i wouldnt call an srt4 a muscle car either, I'm just saying thats the roots of how muscle cars were though; plain looking and powerful. even the new gto is kinda bland looking, thats because thats how muscles cars were in the golden days before emissions

i dont really like srt4s either.

and most owners are pretty stuck up.

but i guess they deserve some spot in the aftermarket 'scene', though theyre still just a Neon at heart.

but back to the original topic, Konigs are pretty wack.
