whats causing the scratches on my sunroof and other questions????

when I open and close my sunroof on both of the Qs we have,over a short period of time theres scratches on the roof in a cartain area??? I buffed them out a couple of times on the misses Q but they retuned over time.the Q 45t Im working on getting together ( the broken timing chain that wasnt) Ive taken to the car was for a good pressure clean on the engine.didnt have the scratches.Ive gone for short trips here and there feeling her out and I noticed now theres the scratches on the roof. anyone else having this trouble??? also the lighted window swiches on the center console,one of the lights are out. is there a way of replacing these w/a new bulb? or does the stealership win on these???

The sunroof thing is on my Q too and it bugs me big time. I dont know how youd fix that besides taking the sunroof down and adjusting the height. Apparently there are front and rear height adjustments you can fine tune. Its in the BF section.

As far as the light in the center console, you can replace them with new bulbs, i think you can get them at radioshack or autozone. The stealer may be able to get them, but I dont remember. I recall that you can get htem local.

thanks wes.thanks for the threads 96Qowner. big help. This sunroof issue is a definate pain....but this is last on the list with things. now Ive got a window Issue to deal with.
