Ah, thanks =)93coupe wrote:You're a beast. I need to get. The hatch out to the next one and ruin my s drives.
lol... no, not 5am. I dont play with the times so that's just a default setting for the google calander. I usually get on site around 6:30 am (but I do this because of my car's setup time and I like to talk to my buddies at the track), but you could get away with showing up at 7:30 am.93coupe wrote:So I know that I have June 27 off. 5am?!
Word, sounds good. There are a couple other ones at Fed Ex before then too if you get the hankering and dont want to wait a month.93coupe wrote:I was supposed to go to a wedding in CT that weekend but got uninvited, so it looks like I might make it out there.
How do you get uninvited btw? Talk about a d!ck move... How do you even break that to someone?93coupe wrote:I definitely do want to, I just don't have my schedule out yet. I only know I am off June 27 because I took it off for that stupid wedding.
Looks like you'll be in STX. If you have stock brakes, you'd have been in ST (much easier class in terms of cars you'll face). STX is dominated by WRX's, but you'll have a chance to meet some pretty good drivers.93coupe wrote:Matte champagnes13 hatch on coilovers, RUCAS, stock KA, exhaust, 300zx front brakes, Yoko S drives.
Thats good that it at least has interior. W/out interior, you'd have been in a prepared class (like myself) or in Street Modified (which is what the Volvo's you saw are in).93coupe wrote::facepalm
yes it does.
You dont have to buy one. There are loaners at the track if you want to save some cash.93coupe wrote:No, it's s14 5 lug hubs rear.
This sucks. I'm going to be running against "dominating" wrx in my second auto x. haha. Time to buy a helmet.
Hell yes!PEZi720 wrote:prepared classes are fun tho.....
EP FTW
you walk it... you can walk it several timesnissangirl74 wrote:Congrats! Those are some impressive times. I have a question. (Pardon my ignorance but I have no idea and I want to know...) Before the timed laps begin, do they let you drive a "parade lap" so you can get a feel for the way the track is laid out, let you walk it, or do you just have to wing it?
Ugh... i think i like your region. The lots seem nicer.flohtingPoint wrote:One of the best courses I've run in a long time. Flowed very well and aside from a poorly placed chicago box with a tiny braking zone of freshly sealed pavement, the course just came together at all the right times.

Pretty much what Pezi says, you get to walk it. I usually wake each event day at around 5am so I can get to the course very early, setup and then watch them run the test lap and also get in as many course walks as possible. I also watch everyone run as much as possible so I can devise the best method to attack certain sections of the course or look for possible problem areas.nissangirl74 wrote:Congrats! FedEx Field is a rather nice lot when you're not on the dark black sections (thats where it's freshly sealed). Plenty of room to gallop and add for creativity while choosing your line.PEZi720 wrote: Ugh... i think i like your region. The lots seem nicer.
yeah, that's the way our other lot is... i'll be there friday testing at the test and tune to play with the hoosiers on that surface... then racing saturday against the AE86 (Dorsey & Wenzel).flohtingPoint wrote:
