8.5/10

It's easily the best overall car I've ever owned

I've had faster cars (11 second chevelle, 10 second sportbike, and 10second honda...I know ) And I've have more luxurious cars (Audi S4, and BMW 5 series)

I will tell you this....it definitely has the best mixture of both worlds I've ever owned. I love the car to death...and I still get that warm and fuzzy feeling when I'm walking out to it from the grocery store (in the back of the parking lot) to this day.

As far as my 8.5/10 goesMy only deductions are kinda what you've already heard. Just a tad bit more torque and hp stock (whatever it would take to get into the mid to low 13's consistently stock) and I'd be happy. I'd also agree on the amber lighting......eh at first, but I did get used to it.

I personally haven't had any paint problems, and the way the car is made interior wise is superb. Everything is located like the car was custom built to perfectly fit my frame (5'11" 195lbs). From putting on the seat belt to adjusting anything or reading/viewing anything....it's just freakin awesome. My only complaint would be the side mirror adjuster knob. It's located in a blind spot close to the left knee area to the lower left of the steering wheel. You've got to look for it a bit when you need to adjust the mirrors. But...since you hardly ever have to do that, it's no biggie

As far as the seat goes....I drove mine from Vegas to Tulsa, OK in one day (left at 4am and got home around 10pm that night, only stopped for food/bathroom/and one quick, rest my eyes powernap) but that seat did me just right! I had absolutely no aches and pains to my very much surprise when I got done.

Another interior pro would be the adjusting gauge console when you adjust your steering wheel. They move together when you move your steering wheel so you don't have a blind spot viewing your gauges, which is very much a plus in my book. I've always hated previous cars I've owned where you had to duck under or peek above top of the steering wheel to view your speedo or gas gauge

well, anyways....I could go on and on cause I'm just that much in love (sad thing is, I probably couldn't write this much stuff about my GF LOL ) <----makes sure she isn't behind me while typing this HAHA )

Anyways, good luck on your decision!!!

One-out-of-ten,eh???My personal Richter scale was devised during my New York Period,a gloriously drunken, sexist time when my friends and I would sit in sidewalk cafes and over many a carafe of wine and would rank the beautiful women as they walked past....NY has a LOT of beautiful women...

The criteria were stiff.A 10/10 was nearly an impossibility, and even a 9.6 was rare.A niner could still be stunning, breathtaking, and there were many in the mid-8s that were to die for.Below an 8.0,there were still a lot of beauties, but most needed a little work.High Sevens were so-so,but doggiedom approached below a 7.5.

Well, applying that serious criteria to cars,a Ferrari (any Ferrari in any condition except non-running or smashed flat) is a pure ten-out-of-ten on my scale. There is no better.Nothing,in my humble estimation, even can SHARE the top spot.If its' name starts with a "Ferr..", well,it's a ten.

That means such exotica as the Carrera or the McLaren or the Murceliago pop in at 9.7-9.8...The Z,due mostly to a religious attachment that I have for the car,is an easy 9.6,and just below-- at,say,9.5-- are the Corvette, the Lotus, the Maserati Quattroporte, the small Lexus, the odd Porsche and the Audi R8.A couple Jaguars might sneak in there as well...

A rather large gap appears, and the next ranking,9.1, is occupied by the G.It's no 350,but it's a damn good substitute.I just haven't developed the attachment for the car yet.It could be a 9.3 or even a 9.4,someday;who knows???

Nine-oh through nine point four contains the likes of the Mini and the Miata, the Chrysler 300 and the Aston Martins.A Beemer M3-series goes in as well (but not the Z4,which is around an 8.2, just because it's so butt ugly).Caddy's new CTS belongs two notchs below the G,at 8.9.It's a really nice car (I've driven one),but my knee kept banging into the place where the center console joined the dash,so it is practically undriveable for me.Nice car for the rest of the world anyway, and deserving of a nice rank.Mustangs,Magnums, and the like are in the high eights.Despite being NOT a rear-wheel drive car,WRX appears about here as well;I rank it at 8.6,just because it's so damn much fun to drive, along with a few other front-drivers like the Mazda 6 or the Honda 2000.Around 7.9/10 begin the majority of the front-drivers,which immediately lost 2 points from the scale of 10 just for being front wheel drive. If they were New York women, they'd be nice, but on heroin.I don't like front-drive cars,so that's where my scale ends.

Rivalry,

Are you on any Dodge sites? DTW, HTC, DT or VD?

If so I'm HemiWoods on those sites.

like: coupe's look, exhaust sound.

dislike: blue tooth is kind of deaf, hard to initiate calls most of time, it's voice recognition problem, also clutch engagement, mod improves a bit but still.

rate 8 out of 10

I'm definitely looking to get a G coupe. Very sexy.

Most likely going to be getting rid of the truck - not because I need money for a down payment, but it's not financially responsible of me to keep two vehicles on insurance when I can only drive one at a time, heh. Kinda breaks my heart actually

I guess I'm not financially responsible since I have two cars, but I don't care! Like them both.

At 21, my insurance is like 5x yours.

I already pay ~$200 a month for a 9 year old truck. I can only imagine how much the G is gonna be I could afford it if I really wanted to, but I would feel bad for throwing that money out because I doubt I'd drive the truck again! lol.

Hope you get that solved. Obviously that is lemon or just the service sucks.

Sounds like you (unfortunately) got one that someone didn't take care of. Hoping for a resolution soon for ya, and also hoping I don't end up with those problems when I get my G! Good luck!

Going to court v. Nissan over it soon. The last repair wasn't a repair, they just flooded the inside of my car with insulation so I couldn't hear the rattle... (not kidding).

Wow. You should have no trouble fixing things up in court. They should pay for court costs, too.

I'd give my 07 a Coupe an 8 out of 10 so far.

I have a few minor rattles, which while small, are ANNOYING considering what I paid for this car.

I LOVE the performance. Fast enough for me, but if it were a bit faster I wouldn't complain.

I love most of the interior, though the improvements made to the interior on the G37 have me green with envy.

Comfort level is really high as the seats fit me like a glove and I simply adore the driving position.

Fit and finish is great, better than any car I've owned before, with the exception of the two little rattles (hope to get them fixed).

Overall, I'm still very much in the honeymoon phase with this car (got it in June), though I can only see my love for it deepening the longer I own it.

Ouch...sounds like a dealer issue, not the car. What's wrong with it??

So far, so good with my coupe...had her in the shop to replace the slave cylinder about 3k miles ago...no issues. The dealer I take my car to has been really great to work with (thankfully). Infiniti of south Atlanta has been great to deal with, and I didn't buy my car there!!
