I went to the junkyard and got a bunch of those interior tab things. All of mine were broken or lost. Then I took some pics of her and she is now on NICO/photobucket. The link is on my intro. thread. :chuckle:

Started it up to listen to the new head knock again. Tomorrow I should have time to work on cars before work.

Pushed my hatch in the garage and pushed steve's hatch up the drive.

It's called stitch welding. You put tack welds every inch or so on all the joining panels that are only held together by a few spot welds. This produces an extremely rigid chasis and lets you fine tune suspension parts and so on. Almost all of the pro race cars and alot of other average drivers are doing it now-a-days. I had to take my full interior out to get the sound deadening material out and fix the rust problems so I figured I might as well do it.

just google stitch welding and it will give you some more info on it.

Drove it. Put another 20 miles on the rebuilt engine/transmission and it's still going.

Put in my mishimoto radiator, and put my front strut tower bar back on. Hopefully i don't heat up at track events now with the new radiator.

Yes, mine has been off the road for a few months due to the 5spd swap and then the clutch issue. I've missed it, but at 100 degs today I wouldn't be driving it anyway. I need some 80 deg days to come back soon.

Since I'm bored waiting on a program to run, some pics...
