'78 F250. 400 something for a motor. My dad doesn't remember what it got bored out to when he rebuilt it 20 some years ago. But the truck has been in the family since as long as my parents have been married in '86. but 9 miles to the gallon wether loaded or empty kinda puts a damper on driving it very much.

My 240's been towed by a Ford tractor. That's it though. My parts car got towed by a Lexus RX330. My engine got transported to my house in the back of a base model Chevy S10.

I took a 5sp transmission and all the swap related parts to a friends house in the back of my 240. Drove it there auto, did the swap, drove it home stick. Didn't leave a single part there. That was pretty cool.

Yeah, at a stop light I had a '00 Prelude pull up beside me with a fart-can exhaust (I HATE HONDAS) so for shiz & giggles I rev'd my engine. So when he redlined his motor to respond I turned off the VDC and proceeded to kick his a$$. I had to back out at about 50mph. cause my wife was yelling at me. It was worth it to see the look on his face when he caught up to us at the next light .

Nice.... I would love to put the VQ40 from this Pathfinder in my S14, however I am too lazy to fab up the swap and I am unsure of how compatible it is with a VQ35 (so as to mate with a 350Z transmission). 270hp/290ft lbs NA =

^^ Thats funny I had the same thought, but to add on a stillen supercharger . I figure with the mods I'm close to 300hp/320tq.My Pathy pulls like hell from 70-80mph I could only imagine what it would feel like by shedding 2000lbs of curb weight.

That might be a good topic, the VQ40 is a stroked version of the VQ35......hmmm

I think a Stillen S/C would be a little too much for me, maybe just a CAI and some headers would be perfect DD/mess around with car.

I have an old '89 F-150 with the 4.9 I6 with about 235k on it. Second owner of it, first was a 70 year old farmer. The things a tow beast but probably the slowest thing I've ever drove in my life. She needs some TLC and new paint one of these days.

Whenever I get through med school in the next century I want to pick up a Titan or Silverado.

92 GMC Sierra 1500 4X4 This was my support vehicle until recently... went out to start her up started turning over but wouldn't fire. I thought it was the cold I stopped and brushed off the snow went to try again and she wouldn't turn over... I have all my lights and accessories and radio but she won't turn over. Does anyone have any idea what I can do to get her running again? Living in Fargo, ND where we get 1 feet of snow is not fun when my truck does not run

i need to get on these forums more often. school and work is a pain, but saw this and figure i'd add my own. this is dirtymax and big blue, the day i bought it. dirtymax has 6inches of lift. h2 rims, and now on pro-comp xtreme a/ts. little work, 4inches back from the turbo. banks tuner, and cai. blue truck is powered by a 350, 5 on the floor. full exhaust, cai, electric fans, tbi spacer, and a mild tune by yours truly. they have both had the pleasure of towing the 240 and here's some more pictures for your viewing pleasure.lawl.

notice the lurker in the backround.
