I know some of you guys have trucks to tow your 240's when they break down. What trucks do you guys have out there? What is a good truck that has enough power to tow the 240, when it breaks down on you? V6 or V8? I also wouldn't mine having another vehicle so my 240 won't keep racking up those miles.

I towed a 91 nissan 240sx with my 95 dodge intrepid, it did pretty good but I had to leave a lot of room in front of me for stopping. gas milage dropped from 26 to 19 mpg with the car on a dolley. the rear part of the driveshaft was removed from the nissan

Haha we towed my coupe parts car about 2 miles with a sable station wagon. Tow rope from the tow hitch wrapped around my front bumper support. Friend of mine was steering the coupe (no brakes btw), I was following in my hatch, and another friend was driving the sable. We all had walkie talkies, it was epic.

LOL dude! that's awesomeas for a truck, I don't have one. I would like something with 4wd and seats more than 2 people. something to keep my 240 out of the snow, and to haul some parts with. Tasty vvv

lol i know this isnt related but one time i was dropping my friend off and this guy that lives up the street was driving a ram 2500 and was coming from behind me and he showed no signs of going around my car so i pulled into a ditch in front of me and he flew right past where my car was, i was stuck so my friend got his 4x4 300cc honda four wheeler and a chain and it was able to pull my 240 out of the ditch haha

I don't really need a tow vehicle, but if the need arises I have an 06 F150 with a 5.4 Triton or a 96 Bronco with a 351W to choose from.

Hopefully I'll have this in that exact color as a daily next summer. I think they're rated at 5000lbs towing, so if I had to I guess it would be good enough. At least I could tow my car at 140mph down the freeway.

Boo for no Toyota trucks yet. I guess I just have a thing for Toyota trucks. I'd love to get a Tacoma, Hilux, 4Runner or Tundra someday, if I were to ever get a truck. Solid trucks imo.
