Being that I've never had an actual exhilarating driving experience since I'm only 17...

(the most fun I've had with cars was going over 100 mph in moms Stanza, ridin in my Aunts '89 Corvette Coupe:ylsuper , and of course researchin 240's tll mine is cleaned up...)

I figured I'd ask you guys what's made you the happiest when your behind the wheel your 240's or well any vehicle for that matter....

~~~SIDE NOTE~~~~Not that it matters...b-cuz it doesn't... I was just wonderin if anyone elses post count was mis counting
Getting almost 250 miles in half a tank of gas sometime last month.
But generally, I always feel good when I'm cruising in my car and it's running like a champ.
What kind of Ninja do you have? I'm thinking about getting one for next summer, but probably something small as it's going to be my first bike.
How was the 250? Did it have enough power for a beginner?
it has plenty of power for a beginner, just because its a 250 does not mean its slow... the bike only weighs 295 lbs !
its a great bike for a beginner but be prepared to trade it in or sell it in about 6 months to a year.
I still have mine because I love how it maneuvers and the ride is awesome ... even though it is slower than alot of bikes i've ridden
Thanks a lot for the info. I was looking at the 250's(light, easy to handle, cheap) and I was already planning on getting a bigger bike after a year or so of riding. I figured I would want something light and fairly easy to handle to take my road test on. This is exactly the information I was looking for, because I was afraid the bikes were severely underpowered.
no I've taken the 250 ninja over 110mph before i ran out of road.... you probably cant do wheelies without popping the clutch but its great for learning and the exam.
Flying down Riverside (east cobb georgia, not the one in california) drive at 3AM at 110mph with my friend in his Audi turbo coupe kissing my back bumper the whole way, and passing in the opposite lane. If you are from Atlanta you probably know that road.
ahhh to be 17 and an idiot again.
my 240 is my first rear wheel drive car... and let me tell you, bringing it home the first night and sliding that rear end out around turns.... ahhh it's a completely different feeling than a FWD car... like being set free. hahah kinda dorky, but it just feels so good!
It was this past winter. My friend was having his birthday party and one of his father's friends had a brand new H2 that he drove over. He was stupid enough to leave the keys in the ignition so we took it for a spin...........(yes we asked him, but he was so drunk anyway he wouldn't have cared)He were doing donuts in the corn field (keep in mind there was snow on the ground:pface ) and as we started to floor it in the field............a Honda CR-V comes at us from nowhere!:eek: He was doing donuts in the field with his lights off, too!:eek:
We chased him out of the field (we didn't own the field, but it we knew who did).We started following him down the street, both of the vehicles had it FLOORED, and we passsd the Honda at 40mph:ylsuper . As soon as we passed him..........he turned around and went the other way:rolleyes ............
That was the most fun I have ever had in a vehicle:D
