almost sounds like an idle problem. try checking the TPS, also had a prob on a rodeo I worked on where it would bog out if you reved it, ended up bein the accelerator cable wasnt secured and let the throttle choke the engine after it dropped revs.

my bro had the same prob with his automatic but idk if it would help you,, hhis problem was the spark plug wires. they sucked and were old, maybe that would work idk.check your fuel injectors to make sure u got new ones to kn ow thats not the problem or MAF get a new one lol.and timing chain is a ***** to work with but get a kit and give it to LABOR let em do it. tell em you want it done right and make sure u watch em do it so u make em nervous and tell em its going to be a performance car if that helps .
