ALL EXPENSIVE HYPE? Since you haven't tried it, don't knock it. While I've used Amsoil for 27 years, what I won't do is bash another brand ESPECIALLY if I haven't tried it before. There are pro's and cons to both AND AT DIFFERENT MILEAGE MILESTONES.

Regarding Amsoils OIL filter, it's specs and efficiency rating are the best. 98.7 percent efficient at 15 microns (ISO 4548-12) while competitive filters containing conventional cellulose medias range from 40 to 80 percent efficiency.

NANOFIBER TECHNOLOGYAt the following link, you'll read about the best filtration technology that NONE of the tests have yet addressed...NANOFIBER filtering technology. And who is the ONLY company using it...AMSOIL.

Having said that, the next link is INDEPENDENT proof of NANOFIBER and its performance and cost advantages over time.

Ironically, M4T5, Amsoil DOES have a NANOFIBER AIR filter for your car but not yet for my M35.

Poster "Ken in AZ" also hinted to Amsoils NANOFIBER in an earlier post.

OIL CHANGE INTERVAL - Change it when you want but the bottom line of the article I linked a few posts ago points out that when using EITHER Amsoil or Mobile 1, the ideal change interval is 8,000 miles. The amount of used oil consumption over time was also a criteria.
Don't get your panties in a bunch..... I was only referring to the article above that stated the slight vibration issues felt while using Amsoil. They stated the vibrations went away after switching to Mobil 1. Don't shoot the reader/ responder!

I'm glad to put it into context. The word vibration only appears in the Mobile 1 test. That same vehicle was also used in the Amsoil test. And no wonder, going from ANY oil that has 14,000 miles on it to brand new would tend to have that result.

Here is another, more recent test. Let's see who comes out on top...
