I finally was able to run through a complete tank of fuel. Went 385 miles on 13.3 gallons of gas. That's ~29 MPG. I am running a 245 rear tire, so maybe the miles are high because of that. 29 just seems high. I was expecting low 20's at best.

That's a bit high but still within range from other 240s. I was getting about 26 mpg with the KA. Swapped to an SR and was getting about 28. After some upgrades I can't seem to do better than 27.

Last time I drove the car I went through half a tank in about 40 miles. That's good right?

My best MPG ever was like 30. But that was a 2 hour highway drive. I average around 20.

apples and oranges are both fruit. both contain and abundance in vitamin c ad well as other vitamins. both have seeds. both have an outer "skin" layer. both are appealing to animals so that the seeds can spread farther away from the tree.

what's so hard in comparing apples to oranges?

i think you used it out of context here...

on 93, checked it yesterday and was getting 21.77, around a year ago on 87 i checked it and got 22.xx. Bone stock ka24e with no cat, 5spd swapped, 215/60/15's. country roads averaging 3500rpm or 70ish mph. Same trips my 2000 silverad, fully boltons gets 19mpg

20-21 on KA-t if I keep foot out of it, but usually average 25-26 on KA Vert, though that will go down a little with emissions removal now.

I'll drink to that!

Pretty sure mine was down around 20, but hoping for a bit of an improvement with my project car. Same engine but new cleaned and flow tested injectors, MAF and ECU.

I ran seafoam through my car before I ever drove it and I put injector cleaner in every 3000ish miles and I average 28mpg. I don't have interior in the car, just 2 brides vios III's. My only upgrades on my ka24de are dc sports 4-2-1 headers, test pipe, injen short ram intake, and a buddy club spec 2 exhaust. It's also lowered and has aero but idk if that makes a difference...

wow high 20's low 30's!! After the octane thread I filled up with 87 instead of 91. Im at about a 1/4 tank to see if there's any difference. Im usually 50-60/40-50 in city/highway driving and generally dont waste gas by a heavy foot.

I usually get just barely over 300 on 15 gallons which = 20.x mpg! I have a stock 97 with 170k, 235 front/275 rear :gapteeth:, intake, catback, thats it. I guess I have relatively crappy mpg :squint:

It's only 12:46 AM here lol

I also smell fuel when I drive.....so it's probably a line or injectors.
