What MPG does your 240 get?

I also smell fuel when I drive.....so it's probably a line or injectors.

Mine did the same thing, o-ring on the fuel sender cover. I just never filled it more than half full and that kept the smell down

Well when I got the car, it needed a fuel pump. I took it too a shop (didn't know much about cars back then, 17 years old), and they didn't install the o ring right. They had looped the o ring around one of the bolts, dumb asses.

Every time I filled up, it would spill all over -_-.

Replaced it, but I still get that smell when my tank is fuel or when taking a hard left turn.

You got a crack in your tank at the top probably. It's probably only a hairline crack too. I couldn't fill my first tank up past 1/2 or it would leak.

The guy i got my car from had a super cool sound system in the car, well for what ever reason he thought it would be a good idea to use wood screws to drill right above the gas tank to mount the amp. Needless say he didn't notice this or didn't care one, so after i got the car and got it home that was the first nice surprise i found, 4 small holes in the top of the gas tank...

Some people just need to put down the tool set and never look at a car again.
