Fluke: Was shopping eBay in need of new car and, just for fun, looked up Ferraris. This guy had my car for sale with a couple Ferrari emblems and some knock-off rims that looked AWESOME and very much like Medona rims. Bought it for ~$3000.

Decided to "pimp it out" and spent ~$5000 on the body. Should done performance first, but it's all good now.

So now I got a decent show car going but wanted the power to back the looks. Didn't have the money. transmission crapped out on me, forced to make a decision, went with the SR Swap.

SR20SDET with MT conversion! WOOT!

Just yesterday, registered with MAC (Minnesota Autosport Club) who is associated with SCCA! I have a "Novice Autocross Class" at Dunwoody Institute of Technology and Midway Stadium" this June!

So, I choose the "rounded" option because this is:

Daily Driver (my only car)Show CarRace Car (i have spare sets of tires :P and besides, this car was made to race and so was I!)Original/Unique (Only a couple 240's in my state and most are NOT a vert. NEVER seen one around here. Also, you've never seen a 240 OR a vert like this.... pictures on the way!)

Ok, these pics are OLD! The car has a LOT different on it now.

Her name is Trisha!http://kingcorp.net/storage/img/ferrari ... i06.jpgNew tailights (factory FLUSH with blackout vinyls and circles cut out to look like Ferrari)New SeatsSR20DET (can see i/c and magnaflow exhaust now)More Ferrari Badges (all authentic imported from italy and brazil, cost over $200)New Steering Wheel

That's the noticeable stuff anyway. I'll have updated pictures once I get her running. (A whole story in itself)

I've had her for 1.5 years and already have at least a dozen cool stories to tell about her!

Wow....where do I start. No one likes to have anyone say, "My, you have an ugly baby." So.....I can appreciate the amount of time and money that went into making this car. The attention to detail and continuity throughout really shows. It's just that to me it really looks "riced-out." Like you're trying way too hard to make this car into something else.

The cool part is that the 240 is a great platform to express your personal taste. Your interpretation is just not my cup of tea. Sorry.

Here's what I think...

I can appreciate the work that went into this car. There is a lot of time an energy put into it, and the work is done well. The attention to detail and creativity is very impressive. He picked a theme and went with it. It's nicely done.

Having said that... it's not my cup of tea either... mostly because the spoiler is just way too much for me..

Chi.. check your email..

Just removed it now. I was like hot for 2 minutes. Now I got me a soda. All better. Ah, soda makes things better.

Mucho apologies to those that got a copy of what I wrote via email. I'm normally not like this - but hey...what's done is done.

okay. All better now. Ahhhhh

He was flaming kingdutka about the "ferrari" style 240.

It was very entertaining, thank goodness for instant email notification which sends me before you edit your comments, hahaha.

To each his own. That car takes quite a bit getting used to, if I can get used to it at all. And this is coming from the guy w/ one of the riciest cars of them all

I had no idea anyone was flaming me...

I have a unique taste for flare. :P Besides, those pictures are quite old. Granted, the same body kit and such is on there, there is enough about it that is different to make you want to take a 2nd look and re-evaluate your opinion.

Anyway, I don't really feel the need to defend her. I love how she looks and drives right now and that's all that matters.

King, welcome aboard - Disregard the "haters", do your own thing.

I have seen this car before (probably before you owned it), I'm eager to see what's different now.

I am finishing up a couple mods that I really want included in the pics. Also, I would rather have the car roadworthy first (waiting on igniter and hoping that's all I need) so I can take some good pics NOT inside my garage. :P

Also, will update my sig pic soon, but wanted the above mentioned in place first.

S14s are not the most atractive car in the world anyway.. except maybe the 97-98 models. Nothing as gorgous as an s13 though

aside from the opinions about his car (mine are probably the same as wirelessalpha's), the owner is very respecable. he doesnt care about what others think. he likes her the way he wants her and he likes her just how she is. very respectable.

i voted weekend cruiser, but really it is just to sell to make some extra money. so no modding for me.

on a side note, there should be one other catagory. called got the vert so my girlfriend would acually like my 240.... i had a widebody rb hatch and my girl hated it, but a cheap stock vert and she thinks its the coolest car ever.
