I'm looking into getting an Oil temp gauge, and I'm wondering what's the ideal oil temp for an S13 SR20DET.

my redtop ran around 195-200 on good hot days, but I never saw it above 185 after the oil cooler instal, then my gauge broke, (stupid sending unit)

In 120 degree weather my car runs at 181 degrees (coolant), so I guess, jsut try to keep the oil around the same as the coolant? On 70-ish weather, my car runs at about 170.
