My lil ninja is 5'3" 105lbs of spicy hot asian fury... you know, the kind you wish you could see naked, but never will. She's a bit of a sports nut, and she has studied various martial arts for many years now. I give her the name ninja coz she uses me to practice punching and kicking for fun, and she also likes to re-enact fight scenes from old hong kong kung fu movies, and she is not offended by my calling her that. She's a wonderful girl, blessed with great athletic ability. She has great taste when it comes to cars. She drives an '02 Altima. You have no respect. Call me all the names you want, calling my girl names gets you in trouble. Do you really have NO class? Why stoop so low as to insult my girlfriend? This shows us once again that certain members of this forum are just here to cause trouble and be part of the "scene", but to IN NO WAY contribute anything valuable.

You need to understand the fact that people make judgements in their own mind about everything.... be it cars or people of different races. This is a fact of life. Deal with it. If my girlfriend calls a crappy car rice, that's her choice and her OPINION...something you still lack an understanding of. some of you people need to wake up and realize some things.. not all people know the definition of rice that you know. its not whether the fact , that you know the definition of it. its how people perceive what you are saying. and many people perceive words, phrases, or gestures differently..

I think I have finally figured this out.

Someone who makes a statement as stupid and unfounded as "Chevys are bad, Hondas are good" can NOT be reasoned with, so I won't even try.

What's wrong with me referring to my Japanese-made car as "xxl rice"? I'm not Asian (notice the capitalization - try it sometime). My car has NO "ricey" mods, but it's funny as hell to the poor "riceboy" (notice that I used it the way you wanted me to) in the Civic Si (or the 240) who gets his a$$ handed to him at the stoplight by a 4200-lb, 300hp luxury car (with NO stickers and NO visible mods). Oh, the irony of it all.

So I guess the point you wanted to make is, it's OK to call a person a "ricer" but don't refer to a car as "ricey". If I've gotten this wrong, let me know. I certainly don't want to offend anyone (snicker snicker).:rolleyes

I think XXLRice would be a funny plate Hitman, go for it. As for this post; I apologize for even starting it. I had no idea what a can of worms i was opening. When I started it I wasn't really even thinking of the racial aspect of the word. I don't even really see the term "rice" as racist. It's derrogatory; certainly, but not really to Asians or any other race. Ironically it's actually an insult originally aimed at us, the import tuning crowd, but now we use it to descibe anything we don't like in our own little community. I use it myself but not as liberally as some other people, specifically people on internet forums. In conclusion, I think anyone who takes offense at any word really ought to just grow up and find something more worthwile to cry about.
