anyone know any good books for learning about turbo changed engines? specificly nissan engines. I have some service manuals but I'd like to get my hands on a textbook like referrance. Would like to do some reading before swapping my RB25det into a 240sx.

any suggestions?

I've been using google "What does (blank) do?" search strings. This works but I'd like something to set next to my toilet. :P

Thanks for the info.

A textbook can only get you so far. In the real world that sort of knowledge is only so helpful.

If you really want to learn, you need to meet someone with a turbo motor, and the knowhow to fix it. Offer to help work on it, then spend the whole time leaching information out of them. The best knowlege comes from life experience, with engines this is especially true. I learned by doing, when stuff broke I had to fix it. I didnt have anyone to teach me, it would have made things easier.

PS, if they get annoyed with all the questions, just change the subject, most of us have hardcore ADD.
