I have had the great luck of never hitting an animal.I almost hit a squirrel last week, but I was on a small slow road so I was able to stop in enough time for it to scramble across the road.

i was talking to a coworker today and he said that way back when he was driving an 18 wheeler, he was at a truck stop b/s-ing with some other trucker folk while they were all eating. they were mostly talking about hunting and other midwest pastimes, when a lady decided that she would input her two cents about how barbaric they were for killing animals and partaking in such a sport. they kind of laughed it off and the lady storms outside, gets in her benz and speeds off. my coworker and his trucker buddies finish their meals, have a smoke and head out down the highway. my coworker gets about a half hour down the road and he happens to see a benz with its flashers on and the same anti hunting driver standing beside it. so being the midwestern gentleman that he is, he pulls the truck over and gets out to see if he can help the lady out. as he approaches the car, he sees that there is a deer squirming in the road and the front end of the ladies car is disfigured. if you were raised with even a vauge sense of decency, you understand that it is more than wrong to let an animal suffer when there is no chance of survival. meanwhile, another truck driver had pulled over to see if anymore help was needed on the scene and was shortly recruited by my coworker. he explained to the other driver that he needed him to walk in fron of the deer and distract its attention. as the other driver follows his request and walks in front of the deer to distract it, my coworker moves in behind the deer, grabs its head and proceeds to cut its throat. soon there after, a utah state trooper arives on scene and asks what happened. my coworker explains the situation to the officer and his reply was, "you just saved the county .38 cents for the cost of a bullet." gets back in his car and drives off. if that wasn't enough, the lady who had been so anti hunting when they last met had formed a new opinion about hunting after totaling out her benz. she went on to say, "i am sorry about the remarks i had made earlier, now i hope you kill all those sons of b****es!" The End

well well well.... sort of disturbing thread, if you guys are really into killing animals and/or the "circle of life" so its been called then google "earthlings" skip the intro...first 13 min. And actually watch the whole thing....I haven't met many people who can stomach it. I have to say watching that video changed my mind on a lot of different levels, people and I believe far too many people are sick f*cks. Its sad But true.

i will have you know i have many animals and i love them all to death. i am actually many family members who are animal drs. the way that we treat animals is in no way related to this thread what so ever. just because we now have a place to vent our regret for the accidental slaughter of animals that we have encountered while driving through humor, which we use as a coping device, in no way relates to how much our hearts may or may not bleed for animals. all animals that i have ever had the chance to share my home with have been from rescue shelters. my heart bleeds for all of the animal kingdom, i have never worn fur and i am STRONGLY AGAINST factory farming. assume all you would like that we are nothing more than barbaric killers bragging, but everyone has to start somewhere when it comes to expressing their feelings of regret or remorse. just because your first impression of someones intentions are negative, does not mean that their heart is evil. it all comes back to the old saying different strokes for different folks. some things in life we cannot help, so why dwell on it? life is too short, learn to laugh and love.

whoa, i dont know if im up for that. i mean, im not a serial killer in the making, i dont surf the web for the most disturbing topics i can find. to be honest, i havent even seen 2 girls 1 cup, i hear a lot of talk about it (which i cover my ears for haha) and i have seen the reaction videos on youtube. hitting an animal in your car on accident, just hearing the thump and not looking back to assess the damage is enough for me. i dont think that any of us on this thread get perverse pleasure from hitting animals.

okay so i know i talk a lot, but i just wanted to say; when that kid at the san francisco zoo taunted that tiger and it jumpped the fence, mauled and killed another man, i thought that the man taunting the tiger should have been uthanized, not the tiger. why kill an endangerd species when there are more than enough humans we could put down. oh and im about 95% anti breeding when it comes to the human race.

also im sorry if i seem angry, my lic has a hold on it because of a few speeding tickets in colorado, i tried to pay em today and the lady on the phone would not except my payment because she could not verify my identity over the phone... am i expected to drive 1200 miles, with no lic to pay a ticket in person? that's not happening. but really though, how stupid would i be to commit fraud paying a ticket to get the hold taken off my lic? it's not like im making a payment to the city, who has my address, drivers lic number, finger prints and god knows what else. oh and on top of all that, my brother just married a cop from that town... im calling schanagains!!!!

Nope.Can't do it.Won't do it. I just read some reviews for it. Heard about the part where in China they skinned a fox alive...then the camera zoomed in on it's face...and it blinked. Phucking barbarians. It's no wonder I value animals more than people.

asians scare me a little bit, when i was a kid, my brother would take me to china town in san francisco and tell me if i didnt start acting right, he was going to sell my dog and i to a chineese restraunt and they were going to cook me haha. it may sound funny or farfetched, but some of the meat hanging in china town doesnt look too far off from a skinned little boy and his dog haha i still will not go there at night

Your quote that you referred to is awesome, I have never heard that one before but hits the nail on the head. As for the video, yeah maybe dont watch it. I have certain F'd up images I still cant get out of my head.Its not all animal cruelty but it shows the cheaper way of euthanizing animals such as slow gas chamber deaths, poison, and even some guy crushing a dogs skull in a garbage truck <--- for me the worst part of the whole video poor doggy Certain parts of the world dumping tons of pollution right into the oceans, the slaughtering process of all animals pigs, chickens,dolphins and beef, <--- do not eat Kosher meat it is by far the least humane way of killing and the biggest Kosher meat facility in the US does not follow the correct guidelines. Alright, this isn't boasting. No one here is talking about how they swerved into an animal they would otherwise avoid. No one here is talking about how they skin dogs, or crush the skulls of rabbits for fun.

You can cast aspersions, but you weren't mislead by the title of the thread. I really didnt think anyone here was boasting, I did find it an odd topic of discussion however. I was just passionate about a sick video I recently watched and .....no one made me push play however I did and was telling my story and personal opinion. People are curios in nature, just like rubber neck'rs driving past an accident scene.

I realize This thread wasn't made for bragging about killing things, but lets be honest...someone would have eventually taken it in that direction. Its mainly a bunch of doods and not everyone feels remorse when they run over the neighbors cat or dog. Some people do find that $hit humorous.

And yes, the USA is one of the most violent countries on the earth; after all, we invented the Looney Tunes (which have been banned in certain foreign countries because of the level of comical violence portrayed in them).

big_rig: I can certainly agree with you concerning the euthanisation of animals which are taunted by humans who then get mauled as a result. I hope that man's health plan didn't cover his injuries; he was foolish to put himself in that situation, and other people on the same health coverage don't deserve to have their rates hiked up for his callousness and stupidity.

And while this thread might not have been draughted with the intent to foster boasting rights, it hardly resonates with sympathy over what happens to animals when they meet your bumper or tires at 55 mph. It's a far cry from that.

Things like this happen from time to time. There's no harm in discussing the issue, whether the discussion is either dispassionate or heartfelt. ...i was going to keep off this topic today, but you know what, if we let the little girl mentality over take our lives, pretty soon we are all going to cry when a buy hits the windshield. animals die, people die, get over it. i dont hear anyone cry when moose kill hunters or when poachers are mauled by their prey. over a thousand people will be murdered today, nine hundred and seventy of those people will not have so much as an obituaries, does my heart bleed for them? no, they were in the wrong place at the wrong time and by some act of man or God, their d!ck hit the dirt. why should i care about an animal that ran out in front of me and just so happened to stop the clock on his life under my tires? im tired of being politically correct. think about the religion you choose to believe in im sure that at one point or another, your God asked you to make a sacrifice of your healthiest animals to him... or maybe when you were asked to smear lambs blood over the top of your door to prevent evil spirits from entering your dwelling. man will always be dominant to beast and we continue to exert our dominance over then. have you never worn a sharks tooth? did you ever have a lucky rabbits foot? have you never kept a fish in the prison cell you call its bowl? do you walk past those who are less fortunate than you and ignore their pleas for help, no matter how trivial it may seem? then you are no better than anyone on this forum. i donate time for the humane society, do you? dont just open your mouth and spew about what you think is injustice, get off your duff and actually get out and do it. your words mean less than nothing to me, your actions however mean more than i could ever express.
