I was trying to find a post from years ago about the burgundy Q45 that was raced back in 1992 I think. I believe it had active suspension and also traction control. It also had one of those add-on grills that was made functional. I think it was originally on the Q45.org site. Wasn't it owned and raced by Steve Millen. There was an excerpt from a magazine also that was part of the post. Anybody here remember that car and saw the pictures? I know Wes had seen it.

That's a blast from the past. It was actually caged as well.

Not Steve Millen. It was Geoff Brabham's.

Ah, I see. Alrighty then. Yeah that was way back when. Well, I knew Steve Millen was involved some way or another.
Thanks much.

If I remember correctly, there was also a '97-99 Q that was built for Bill Cosby. I believe it was a raspberry color, and had some modifications.

I saw it in person when it was here in Phoenix. It was pretty shagged by that point. :(

Thanks. I did end up finding the Geoff Brabham special article. I was trying to find the pics of the car back when it was in the process of being restored before it was sold. I remember it was missing the front grill and had some race numbers on the side.

$10,000 package, and it only shaved 0.2 seconds off the 0-60 and 1/4 mile times? They should have been embarrassed to put their brand name on the car with those pathetic "improvements"

Seriously! If any of us Q vets had an extra $10k and a healthy donor we could build a Q that would smoke that thing.

Yup, let's see 10k thats a Z32 transmission swap, headers, exhaust, cams, valve springs, fuel injectors, pistons, intake, ECU, coilovers, rotors and calipers (i wanna drop some G37 Akebono's on my Q lol), acusump, fan/radiator setup, then your preference of ITB's, pleneum, Turbo, supercharger, hell you can do allot with 10K lol!

@db_autotek when did you get out of the Corps brother?

I got out in 2008, seems like just yesterday but yet a lifetime ago lol. I was a 3521 - Automotive Mechanic. I was in the reserves, so I missed out on some things, but I did get to see some action during a 6 month tour of Iraq. Fun stuff!
