I REALLY want to play Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. I'm anxious that the touchscreen-only control scheme will seriously fark up one of the most tried-and-true formulas out there, but I still want to play it.I'm really irritated that they're making it touch-ONLY instead of using that as an option. I really don't see how you can properly do a Zelda game using only the stylus for control. Yeah, you can STEER with it, but that's it. What about everything else (item swapping/use, etc.).I hope they're smart enough to offer a traditional button-style control scheme for the US release. Even if the stylus controls are effective, it's a lot more awkward to hold the DS and use the stylus than to just use the damn buttons.
GIMMICKS ARE FOR CRAPPY GAMES, NOT LONG-RUNNING FRANCHISES!!!

Eh, not really.
People have been saying exactly that for years.
Gameplay graphics will never look as good as pre-rendered cinematics. Simple fact that your machine isn't as powerful as the one they built the cinematic on (remember, cinematics are VIDEO, unless they're rendered in-engine, so they're just played-back recordings)--especially while running the rest of the game as well as the graphical aspects.
Sure, they both have tons of room to improve, but pre-rendered cinematics will always be a few steps ahead of in-game footage graphically.
