so basically i all i can do is get a tune then. in your opinion would it be a better idea to wait to get the power fc until i eventually upgrade the turbo and injectors or should i buy it now and get a tune?

What all is done to your exhaust? Full turbo back?

-manifold?-Elbow?-Downpipe?

Theres gains to be made from all of these....

Or you could change the gear ratio to something shorter.

An intake box to keep it getting only cold air could probably net you a few hp.

its 3inch from the downpipe back i dont know where to get an aftermarket o2 housing that will clear my steering column* mine is just a modified oem elbow theres no room for an intake with the i/c piping and i dont want to lose top end for off the line perfomance so i dont want to mess with the g/r.

I know this sounds kinda dumb but my subaru had a bad grounding problem so I added some good grounding wires and it idles smoother. I knew I had a problem when i had high beams on and when I went to push button up for windows my lights would dim. I'm sure new spark plugs iridiums would make the spark better and the ngk ones are pretty cheap.Running alcohol injection might net you a few hp for lower temp but would probably help out most with a turbo upgrade. Who here has used alky before? Always seemed liek a neat thing to try.

There are manifolds that keep the turbo in stock location I've heard they can net you about 15 hp with the stock turbo.

ive seen 2 240's with the alky injection both s14's one was xat it was a built ka-t if i remeber correctly the other one is owned by some guy that came into driven concepts while i was getting my diff they said he had an rb but i didnt see his engine they did have one of his old motors (rb25) on a stand that had a custom twin turbo kit yes twin turbo rb25dett they said that setup made like over 800 without the alky but you never know manifolds are very pricey im not trying too spend 1000$ im still saving for some other stuff i need

I don't see the connection between the thermostat and radiator upgrade? Can you explain where you're coming from on that?

You don't want to change your thermostat too much because the motor was designed to operate at a certain temperature for dissimilar metal expansion etc.

water spray kit for the FMIC. Or the CO2 or Nitrous cooler kits, but those are kinda expensive.

Get the Power FC first. You will need it to tune the injectors when you get them anyway. You need a foundation for the house before you start framing man!

His thermostat was probably stuck open and adding the koyo exacerbated his operating temperature issue. If he would have replaced the thermostat with a stock unit, the problem probably would have gone away as well. The thermostat is in place to keep the proper amount of heat IN the motor. Hence, it doesn't open until the engine warms up.

I want to see some pics of that IC sprayer kit you come up with. Controls and all!

give it a wet shot of nitrous low cost and bolt on hits both your requirements

i think that anything you do other than a tune might hurt you ...

if you add a larger dp, you may create more boost which can hurt your motor if you are not tuned in.

by adding a $1000 greddy intake mani + the required q45 tb, you will likely loose hp ... again it has to do with not being in tune to your mods.

everything is working fine right now - correct? if not, fix the lil things and get a tune on there. one tuning option you might want to read up on is the megasquirt systems.

in my opinion nitrous is for hippies and ravers and is definetly not being pumped into my car. i guess now i have to finish the sprayer i was top secretly developing in my underground bedroom closet so i can take pictures.but if you look at the pictures i may have to kill you; with it being top secret and all. all i need to do is find a suitable bottle to hold the water and pump then just run some vac hose to the nozzles mounted in front above and below the i/c. i wanted to try and use the switch/plugs/harness for the oem wiper sprayer motors but i dont know how to do that without the actuall wipers cycling across the windshield. it wouldnt be nearly as ballin if the windshield wipers came on at the same time
