In the house I keep a Mossburg "street sweeper" - 12 Ga black pump shotgun, 21" length and pistol grip. Just seeing that thing for one second and the perp would run out the door very quickly. Seriously BAD looking gun. And no, there are NO kids in the house. And no, I've never shot anyone. No one "effs" with you when you carry - or so it has been. They just assume you are a little deranged or ? ? -- whatever, it works for me.

Nah, you're not getting older. I'm just getting older (read= "calmer") in my mindset I guess. I used to listen to a lot of hip-hop, but what's out now is 99% crap. I figure either I'm getting older (When I was young, older people thought my music was crap) or the music's just crap. I'm still a young guy, just with older tendencies.

(BTW, I turn 28 on 9/23, so I'm right there with ya!)

Antz is an acronym for automatic negative thoughtz. My profession is as a clinical psychologist (google “Jim Goodwin PTSD” or “Jim Goodwin Prozac”) and your “antz” are what pay my bills; for my ’06 M35x et al. Oh yeah, the “z” at the end is poetic license for plural.

We human beings have had a long term relationship thinking up irrational automatic negative thoughtz that cause us inside to feel bad and subsequently to act out or manifest these thoughts upon others, treating them badly. Hence for humanity: “Antzrus.”

My job is to help folks identify such thinking as irrational and w/both (often Prozac type) medications from their physician and cognitive psychotherapy from me, both used concurrently, we learn to fight back and defeat such self-talk and subsequent behaviour before it significantly interferes w/our and the lives of others. Hence; the above yellow, red and black “No Antz” avatar you see displayed and on my business card.

This person also asked why/what do the above suggested medications “really” do? Well, honestly so far we don’t really know. Because a science only reports what happens when A+B=C repeatedly; that’s all we’ve got. We really do not know why we get C, nor why in a few more years of more science we might find C resulting from Z-Q; something completely different. Science is always changing, evolving as our wits grow sharper.

This is a cool thread and btw fiveliterbeater, I knew from day one what your screen name meant, I didnt know all the details tho, on the opposite spectrum I had to idea what "antz" meant... I just thought u had a thing for ants to be honest, especially since you have a whole bunch of ants crawling on your website n whatnot.
