yesterday, me and my friends, ill call them N and R, skipped second period to ride around. While we were riding , N asked if i minded if we stopped by this guys house, i figure we didnt have anything else to do so why not. when we got there it turned out he actualy wanted to break into the guys house, i figured that out when he started checking the windows and doors after he knocked on the door and found out the guy wasnt home. so it turns out one of the doors is open so he goes in for about 20 mintes while me and R are waiting outside, hoping he would hurry up, so he finaly comes out with a bag of change, and wants to go to safeway and cash it in, so we went there and it turned out to be over 200 dollars worth, and he kept it all...well that afternoon 4 cop cars show up at my house and say that my car was seen at the scene of a crime today(apparently someone was watching and took down my license plates), i told the cops the truth and basicaly told them everything i knew but i hear that since i was there that i will probly end up in trouble with N since i was there

i know i messed up and im paying for it now, i shouldnt have been skipping school and shoudve said something but its over now, and i dont have a time machine(as much as wish i did), so what do you think will happen to me as far as being charged? sorry for the long post, i tried to sum it up , theres alot of details i left out

cooperate with the cops, they have you by the short and curlies. You will likely get some kind of probation if they beleive your story. Good luck and look into getting some better "freinds"

so you think probation? what do you think will happen to N too? the cops said breaking and entering, and i found out that he went back to the house later that day and stole alot more stuff, one of the items being a gun, also a PS2 and some DVDs....so i think hes basicaly screwed himself b/c he has been in trouble for stealing b/f about a year ago, i hate to see one of my friends go down like that but aparently he wasnt so much of a friend as i thought

That's F'ed up man. it's a good thing you told them the truth from the start tho. you are prolly considered an accomplice to the crime, but since the money that he took wasn't all that much your punishment shouldn't be all that bad unless the person who was robbed presses charges to the fullest and is a prick about it. then you'll want a lawyer.

Edit: you got a post in before me: if he went back later, I'd look into getting a lawyer now so that you don't get associated with his second trip. Your friend is screwed tho.

You're only 17, you'll be fine.

You didn't do anything, they can try accomplice or whatever but if they believe you had nothin to do with it then you'll be fine.

The only thing is you should have went to the police before they come to you. You may get probation, then again you may skate.

Have they charged you with anything, yet?

if you can prove that you didn't know about it till after the **** happened, then maybe you can get off easier, but what they're focused on right now is that guy you call a friend, who stole $200, a PS2, some DVDs, and probably what's really going to **** him over is the gun, since I'm assuming he's a minor, and alot of other **** could follow that,

I hope that the police follow through on your "friend" he deserves it for being such a moron, I can see, minor in posession of a firearm, among other things hopefully tacked onto his charges,

ok what he did was b&E, luckily it was an unocupied stucture or else he would be looking at a 2nd degree felony! and yuo and your friend in the car also would be charged 2nd degree felonys complicity to burglary ! and since its your first offense youll most likely get probation, also if you presented your self honestly to the police and let them know you wernt aware of his actions untill it was in progress they may go light! only problemn is that you stuck around!! they see that as a criminal act you knew somthing was wrong and you stuck around till he finished !! my friend drove another kid to a gas station late one night, kid decided to pull and armed robbery ! kid gets in car both know now what happend, later popo gets my friend charged with 1st degree agravatied robbery !! doing 4-6yr no porale!! just for being there and driving away !!

that doesnt sound to promising for me:( , do the peoples house who was broken into have to be the one who presses charges....b/c i talked to the guy whos house was broken into and he said his grandma(the one who saw us and turned in my plates) saw that we stayed outside and hes not mad at us b/c he knows what happened, but hes ready to beat N's azz , as will me and R if i get into trouble b/c of this

I don't know the specifics of the legalities in your state, however I can say that (as you already know), you need to get new friends. Oh, by the way, I would get a gun and shoot N in the face for getting you in trouble.

just found out today, Nate said if he gets prosecuted for what he did, then hes gonna say that we helped him break into the house.....im not worried about it though b/c i know i didnt and there's no way he can prove it but im not tryin to have to pay for a lawyer, that would ruin all my plans:(

u just said the N's name..... DOH!

but anyways... if the owner of the house seems to be ok with you and not mad at you, try to cooperate with him as much as you can and maybe he wont press charges against. And also if N says that you helped him break in.. the owner's grandma clearly saw that you were outside so i dont think you will be charged for that but who knows...

lol yeah i was just sayin teh first letter so i didnt have to type out their names each time

yeah i actualy talk to the guy like everyday now, b/c we hear something new everyday it seems like, but its not him who would be pressing charges it would be his mom and dad who would be pressing charges im guessing since he lives with his parents and its their house

Quote »oh i would so beat his *** for even saying that [/quote]

all my friends were ready to go beat his *** the day it happened and they heard about it, but i told them to wait and see if i get in trouble b/c of it, a couple of my friends already told him if he gets me in trouble theyre gona f*** him up, but if i do get punished for the shiat he did, then jail would be a good place for him to be(either that or the hospital)

It's too bad your not in texas...I'd beat his *** for you. Although you should have left him behind it does suck for you, I hope you get off with just probation or a small fine.

I hope nothing bad does happen to you. Those guys really took advantage of your trust, pretty sure you'll find it hard to trust people you just meant in the future. I would seriously look into getting a lawyer--I know it may mess up your plans now, but think about it, what good is mod money gonna do for you if you end up in jail. (Of course the lawyer thing is only if he decides to try and take you down with him).

hopefuly my friends, one of them being over 300 pounds and on the football team(no exageration) and the other 2 also play football(i basicly have the whole football team on my side) , scared him enough today when they talked to him so that he wont go and lie again

nothin to do now but wait and hope this gets over with

no, that is too conspicous, you need a some glass that turns dark when you run 12v through it, but changes back when you release the power. (forgot what it is called)
