That is something that is easily prevented with a $60 set of rocker arm stoppers, anyone who is going to be revving the piss out of a sr with out a set of RAS deserves to throw a rocker. ka's like to put the #3 rod through the block, stock or built, I've seen both and know one guy that decimated 3 or 4 "built" ka's and he was only making mid 400 to low 500 hp.

Wasn't a big fan of what you were about to do with your wheels but it looks better than I thought. Nice work. I know my name isn't kouki monster but I used to be a serious ka fanboy but changed to sr for a dozen or more reasons. I'll let everyone else do the arguing because I find it pointless.

The KA is super torquey from the factory, that plus boost=badass. and also you will have to do 0 swapping just adding to whats there already. my plan is to buy a used KA and rebuild it then just put it in and sell mine or keep it just incase of issues cause of my heavy foot and desire to drift haha

Yeah I'm not saying go sr. I'd go ka if I had the money but my plan is to go sr, and slowly build the ka on the side until I figure out what I want to do with it. Mainly cause I have a good feeling I'll be able to use it in the future, whether something goes terribly wrong with the sr, total the car, or get another.

That's a matter of opinion, spend some time reading the sr and ka forums, and pick the one that you feel will suit you best, but personally I would choose the sr.

I do to, but it is fun to poke the ka fanbois. Its also kind of funny how just a few years ago it was cool to bash the ka now its cool to bash the sr.

Not a fan of spray painted oem wheels either, but as long as you like, rock on.

I was also serious about going the KA-T route as well. I got a good deal on a rebuilt SR with a bunch of goodies and jumped on the deal. If you want simplicity and good power, SR's the route. If you're in for more of a mechanical challenge, but a bit more power potential, then KA-T would be the better choice.
