yep we do, I paid 40K for the top end altima (without cvt) its like a free 10 000$ check for nissan since the canadian dollars is higher than the us one now...

1 CAD = 1.06980 USDLive rates at 2007.11.03 16:26:17 UTC

thats why my parents are going to go buy a used CLS 2006 mercedes for 40K US$ in the USA ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW )instead of a new one here for 93,200.00$ CA (which is... 99,705.80 USD)

man they are gonna save 50K$!

if the motor companies don't adjust their prices soon, they are going to sell zero cars in Canada since we're gonna get them cheaper in the US

I paid 29088 for 3.5 se with premium and tech packages (navi). MSRP around $32090. Included mats and wind deflector but no kick plates. Most places around here wouldn't go below 30500, but for some reason the dealer I went to wanted to beat them all. Worked for me.

Do you have the MT or CVT?

You have the exact color & interior I want, but I think I'm going with the CVT... in a couple of months.

Paid MSRP of $24,000 on a 2.5s with Convenience and Sunroof without tax and title so came out like $25,500 all together.

Dealed on the phone $24,800 out the door at a dealership 3 hours away. Thought I was gonna save 700 on the car so it sounded like a good deal. Car was in Oklahoma, out the door in OK mean without tax or title. Texas out the door means everything. A little bit of yelling, i got it for MSRP. I was frustrate so i just bought the car for MSRP since i needed a car at the time. Worst car purchase I ever did. I gave them a negative survey so i guess that made me a little bit happy haha. The dealership in my town offer me 800 off for one on their lot but wasnt in the options I wanted.

Wow, that extra $1000 is totally worth it. But I heard the dealer option of "touch of class" only lasts 6 months, because the life span of the protective coating is only 6 months. If you get the same thing at a car wash place, they will ask you to bring in your car every six months to get the protective coating reapplied, and will most likely do a much better job.

BTW, what is your deductible for the extended warranty, is the warranty same as the 36,000 mi/3 yr warranty that your altima already comes with?

Where did you buy your car? I am in the bay area too, and I'm thinking of buying this extended warranty bundle...

I got CVT 3.5, I think i got one of the best prices out there for 24500. I got the kickplates and the floormats as well... Also im only paying 22500 because of my 2000 down payment i made with the insurance money i got from my Civic. All in all I'm paying around 4000 below MSRP

I got the 2.5 loaded except the nav system. paid right at $26000.00 including tax, title, etc. Did a stupid thing by buying the extended warranty for around $1200. But I am canceling that usless piece of crap, so that will knock off a little more of my purchase price

What's done is done. No point in lamenting about the past. Look to the future.
