What did you buy for your EX, this week?

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Got this cargo net a few weeks ago and love it. Couldn't find one from Infiniti but this one fits perfect.

Love the HID upgrade.... I found the halogens to be weak on dark highways and in the gas lit town i live.

What kit are you going with?

Epoxy-coated garage floor! It took a good deal of preparation, but application of the epoxy is just like painting a wall.
$99 @ home depot for a 2.5 car garage...

My only mistake was having some left over. I should have really slopped it on there, but it is still so nice to have a CLEAN and attractive garage floor... (I also painted the walls white and filled all the little holes) My baby appreciates it.

OEM engine splash shield off of eBay.

The original one on the car had a crack all the way across the front third of it. I guess the 8 years of temperature cycling combined with dealership techs letting the shield hang from the front during oil changes led to its demise.

Unexpectedly had to buy tires after I picked up a giant chunk of metal while driving down I10. $900 later, I have four new Michellin Premier A/S tires.

I guess I missed the "this week" deadline two weeks ago for posting that I bought my car an oil change at the dealership.

This week I bought her some gas; also picked up a Thule crossbar kit to use on the factory roof rails.

I will be picking up some new brake pads for the rear, and some wheel paint with gloss clear for a slightly different look on my 19's. After pics to follow in a few days

Nice :bigthumb: . I wish those were available when I bought my Infiniti branded all weather mats; I would have gotten these instead.

I have WeatherTech mats in my Odyssey and I love them. But the Maxpider mats were a dash cheaper and they do the same thing.

Got my breaks done (rotors, pads) - Raybestos. Very satisfy with them, no noise, no to much dust.

-breaks (650CAD) including labor
- oil change (89CAD) - synthetic
-transmission flush (done by mech. 110CAD)

Looking to replace Air filters, and upgrade the HID.

Sent it to the dealership for leaky camshaft cover under warranty. I found out my extended warranty ends next month (July 25th)

I told them to check the whole car for any warranty work needed. I told them I noticed a green gel like coolant stuff coming off the passenger side rear radiator.

I told them to check my brake rotors if needs a new one. (I already bought a new one for me to change this weekend. I just want them to do the measurements) if needs new rotor , I will put the new one, if not I"ll just replace the pads.

On the other hand , I already spent $550 of parts and tools to do my Brake job this weekend.

Bought :

Centric Premium front and rear rotors.
Akebono rear and front pads.
Caliper slider pins.
Rubber boot.
Shims etc...
Amzoil brake fluid dot 3.
Brake fluid bleeder kit.
Carlyle open end wrenches (8mm to 22mm)
NAPA brake paste.
New front and rear bleeder screw ( front is different from the rear)
Brake caliper paint

Another dealership oil change and a tank of gas again. Didn't realize that I put on close to 5K miles on the car over the past two months.

I decided to upgrade my air intake with Green Filters. I've been hearing a lot about Green Filters USA through a a coworker. They got a lot of advertising in for the 24 Hour of Le Mans and their filter was featured in the Ford GT and other vehicles. I thought I'd give it a shot. Also being a daily driver and didn't think the mods were necessary, I didn't want to make move towards getting a Short Ram or Cold Air Intake.

So here's the scoop.. the company do not have a Green Filter for our vehicles and the closest I found was the Green Filter Part Number 2019 https://www.greenfilterusa.com/store/2019 The size of the 2019 was the compatible width-wise and I purchased two for modifications.

I ended up slicing the urethane rubber into the pattern of our stock filters, by trimming off the access and adhering the side with 3M Industrial Adhesive 4799 (heat resistant, bonds well to EPDM and urethanes rubber) for a perfect fit:

So have I noticed any differences? Maybe I'm delusional, but I'm feeling a boost in torque, so I'm quite satisfied with the results! :)

I installed the following remote starter into my 2011 EX35, and another into a 2009 Nissan Murano

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NA ... UTF8&psc=1

The install was very simple, took about 30 minutes to gather the few tools, install, program and put everything away (per vehicle)

Now I can start each vehicle by pressing the lock button 3 times with the OEM key and the vehicle will start and warm up or cool down before I get into it!

Aerodynamic Body Kit in Graphite Shadow.
The kit is no longer manufactured in Graphite Shadow (KAD) so I had to purchase the parts in other colors and have them painted. I preferred there was no black on the body so the kit was painted solid KAD instead of leaving areas of it black.
I did have the tail pipe features highlighted with carbon wrap.
Additionally I had the fender well trim painted to match.

Love this...Have it in mine too. The only complaint I have is that the range of the remote is limited since it uses the OEM fob. I would love if they made some sort of range extender that would allow the OEM remote to work from farther distances.

I'm wondering if there is something wrong with our OEM fob for range. I'm disappointed and my previous 08 Altima Coupe had much better range and wall penetration with its fob. I thought it was a battery thing and it wasn't when I changed the batteries..
