Fun thread.
I just replaced the crappy Dunlop tires with Bridgestone Ecopia ep422 over the weekend.
Was thinking to post in the tire thread after I got more mileage on it but here are my initial impressions:
Low Rolling Resistence (LRR) really makes difference. I am now driving much lightfoot and steering feels lighter too. I do almost 100% city and now I just let the car "slide" most of the time.
Quiet - I had it installed in Midas, Bellingham, WA, and drove back to Vancouver, BC. The pavement on I-5 wasn't great but I didn't hear much noise from tires, mostly from the wind.
Smoother ride - During my daily commute I have to cross a REALLY bumpy railroad and the car shakes a lot, but now it's much better, at least doesn't make me feel uncomfortable, like I am driving a different car.
Because of LRR, it suppose to save on gas too, but maybe should wait until I empty few tanks before I can tell the difference.
