ripped all the "ricer" hackjob wiring out from the dash and center console, and fixed the cigarette lighter so i can charge my iPhone.
just need to find a nice clean looking deck to put in that my ipod can hook up to. i dont care about cd player, satellite radio, and all that, it just has to play off my phone and get the local stations.

tightened up all my fuel lines. found the gas leak and fixed it. relocated my knock sensor and reset the ecu. hopefully the code stays gone.

Test fitted the side skirts I painted over the weekend.

Not bad for just being placed on the car with no screws.

Thanks I am still not sure how much I like them yet lol, I didn't even touch the door fillers as I don't know if I will be keeping them or not. My brother likes the skirts though and I am likely painting his car soon so he may get them if I decide I don't want them.

Not today, but last friday I got it inspected, and drove it for the first time in nearly a year.

Thought I had a boost leak because I got no boost in 1st gear. Then I mashed the pedal and realized I was just being a vaginabloodfart as I left two squiggily lines from my 285s. :shifter:

What skirts are those? I'm thinking about them for mine, cause i don't want a full body kit.

Jumped in my convertible to see how it was running. I haven't touched it in 2 months. Went to drive it around the corner and ended up in a race with a new model camaro. (Obviously not an ss) but I totally stomped him. And that's with barely running injectors. Then I came back and ordered the new style injector kit.

Sounds like fun!
I found a GT500 yesterday on the way home along a parallel freeway to I-5 with minimal traffic and some open space that he used well when he saw me drive up, and although I can't say I could have ever gone around him my TT definitely could stay right there with him other than off the line after the one stop light. He looks over later when we were side by side in traffic like "Can't believe you're still here!", then turns left and waves with a thumbs up as I kept going on my way :yesnod

Took out one cat... breaking studs off in exhuast manifold. Deciding if I want to just drill out the studs and use bolts or try and get broken studs out.

Pulled my motor for the second time this year. This time I have metal shavings and bronze pieces coming from cylinder #5. Also compression tested the motor day before yesterday and came up with these numbers:
Cyl 1- 130psi
Cyl 2- 130psi
Cyl 3- 180psi
Cyl 4- 165psi
Cyl 5- 60psi (fml)
Cyl 6- 160psi

Here's to hoping my crank isn't thrashed.. Or my block. Or the pistons.. I got the motor out today and on a stand so this wekk will be tear down, diagnosis and hopefully ordering rebuild parts.

Took my motor to the machine shop! Next time I see it it'll have a sweet 88mm bore, weisco pistons and 1mm over valves. It'll be some sweet golden goodness of N/A fury!

I purchased for my Z:
350z wheels
yellow lens film for fog lights
some body filler and tack clothes
sand paper
primer
aluminum gauge bezel
LED kit for gauges
new air filter
dash pocket
sent money in for my NICOClub decal

Installed
short throw shifter w/ z1 motorsports bearings
installed ebay seat with bracket I made!
replaced horn fuse and relay with junkyard parts and realized that my horn is blown (but i think it sounds funny so I'm going to keep it like that lol)
replaced driver side rear quarter glass
installed "Nissan Fairlady Z" decal on hatch lid
" "Nismo" decals on rear quarter windows
repaired some connectors under the hood

Confusion :wtf2:
stared at some wiring diagrams for the driver window (mine doesn't go up or down)
dreamed about a functioning ebrake

just got her a week ago and she needs some pampering
