Well, about the only thing I do is work. But other than that, I have gotten back into playing paintball, a few months ago. Now I spend my time constructing all sorts of implements I can use to ruin someones day on the paintball field, such as my paintball launcher's. Have a few silencer designs, mine designs, and grenade designs to try out (for paintball).

I always played speedball. That was a blast. I'll probably play some indoor this winter after I get my deer.

Hobbies as of right now:

BalletUltimate frisbeeHorseback ridingPokerCribbageReadingHiking and camping

So what do you guys enjoy doing in your spare time and recommend some new things to me.
If you enjoy Ultimate frisbee you should try disc golf some time. I play and enjoy both, but I like DG much more than ultimate for a number of reasons. Most importantly, you can play by yourself if you can't get a group of friends together. It's also more of a skill game with unlimited room for improvement. The only drawback is that you need a disc golf course in your area. Thankfully the sport is growing like mad and there are courses in every state now. Look it up online... there are several sites dedicated to the sport, not the least of which is the PDGA (Professional Disc Golf Association) site. They list all the known public courses in the US and Canada.

I also enjoy the following hobbies:

Drummer/PercussionistCooking (professionally and casually)Off roading (trucks)4-wheelers (racing and recreation)Hunting/FishingRunningGoing to the gymChessAny and all forms of pokerCribbageSnow and Wake boardingSnow and water skiingSnowmobilingHikingWorking on my car and trucks..

That's about all I can think of....

You play cribbage? That's wicked fatty.

I just got back from backpacking this weekend. I want to go and yell at the girl at EMS who recommended the damn location. First of all we get there and the place she told us to park isn't meant for overnight parking but we take our chances and park there anyway. The hike was pretty decent. It was poorly marked so we ended up taking another trail that was shorter than intended. So we get to the recommended campsite at around 2ish. We set up tent there and Ben and I are both tired as hell so we take a nap. I wake up at 5ish to hear a bunch of local kids talking about throwing stuff at the tent and how it was wicked weird that people were camping out there. Apparently it wasn't the "really good campsite" that the girl suggested and was in fact a place for locals to go and get drunk and high. (We found broken bits of beer bottles and a bong)... So we get sketched out for the entire night... then we made pasta and played cribbage then went to bed... woke up at sunrise and went home early. bleh. I hate not knowing the area.

i dont think surfing forums is a waste of time...well actually its pretty smart. I cant count the dollars i have saved fixing little **** with my car due to NICO. I guess if i didnt spend all those hours looking for the right post i could have gotten another job and actually paid Nissan to do it, but i like learing it myself better. imagine how big everyones book would be if you could total up all you have read on the internet? pretty damn big i think. to sum it all up the internet is an information super highway with no speed limit (besides the cap from my ISP, but we are sneaky too...

Yes... and I play online too. Go to Yahoo and set up an account (all you need is a username and password). Then we can play together some time!

And stop calling me "fatty"!!!

Photography is my newest hobby. I'm working on getting a camera (hopefully next weekend). A digital camcorder and DV editing will be the next thing.

If I dont have the 240 yet, I might as well film and take pics of cars, right?!?

We used to go every summer for a week long trip down the Sacramento River and I've been down the Russian river more times than I can count on my fingers. Then when I worked at a scout camp, I taught canoeing and rowing (along w/ motorboting, swimming, and lifesaving). Good times... another thing I miss alot
You were in scouts? Hmm interesting. I'm an eagle scout. Did some of that stuff too. Did a couple of those 50 miles afloat thingies.

Airsoft is better!!!! I just find it more realistic and more intersting. The police and military train with airsoft. Plus you don't get paint all over your clothes. Too bad the fields around here limit your gun to shoot under 350fps.

Ok, just one question Vicki. How do find time for all your hobbies? How many units are taking this quarter? I wish I could do those stuff. Nearest hiking trails around SoCal are at least an hour's drive away. Do you have one of those huge backpacks that weigh like 40 pounds? Haha, man that brings back memories.

Hmmms

If you're at all interested, learning how to play a musical instrument can be ridiculously rewarding, I've been playing bass for...10 years now, and my new band's got our first show tomorrow night.

Snowboarding's amazingly fun if you're somewhat close to the slopes (I dreamed about boarding all damn summer)

Cars of course =P NICO and all.

Cooking

Drinking

Bad Movies

Soccer

Tennis

Football

Yes. Photoshop can be fun too.
