Graduated a few months ago with a BS in International Business Administration. Gonna go for my MBA in a few years, soon as I rack up some experience. Would like to work in either currency or stock markets, or more desirable would be some aspect of the import/export area in the auto industry. Like um, maybe do something similar to Motorex... that would be $$$

NY94J30:

I'll have to take a few more classes to finish my 1L year. (I had to pull out in the middle of 2nd semester.) I'll be back on track as a 2L by NEXT fall. Military threw a wrench into things, but it will be worth it in the long run. I actually looked at American for their trial advocacy program, but wanted to stick a little closer to home...and the NY job market is a plus :)

Not going to college. Too burnt out from school. Military as nuclear tech.

Icepik,

I hear ya with staying near home - I'm from NY too (Albany). I would have loved to go to Albany Law, after doing my undregrad in FL, if they had what I need.

You're right about American though, the clinical program here is amazing (top 3 in the country), as is the international law/affairs program. That's what I came here for. A 3 1/2 year JD/MA international affars program. If I could have got it at home I would have stayed. But Albany is also a dead end market for the most part.

Good luck with classes, nice to see another law student on the board.

No...no subs for me. I'll go to an aircraft carrier no problem though. Subs are just too cramped. (Not claustrophobic, I just don't like subs)

I never went to college... well one class but it was just like an intro to computers... very boring but i had to go through it to get the degree i wanted but i just quit after that class.

I've been working now in IT for 3 years and have climbed my way up to Network Security ... so i'm not sure yet if i'm gonna go to school or not but I would like some sort of a certification ... even A+ LOL ... i dont even have that but I guess i'm kinda smart =) (well with computers anyway)

HUm... I've yet to use Linux. I've downloaded a few copies of it but havn't had the desire to install it. Just compatibility issues probably. *though they basicly have most drivers*

Ya, jakes question is a good one, especially when your still a linux n00b, hehe. The thing I realized is, no matter how smart you are in computers, it is still hard to get any where without some type of certification. Thats why I want to hurry and get my A+, so then I have something to vouche for me, then go back to networking and get another :D

MM I just finished dual enrollment. It was a *****, and most likely what burned me out so much. I have to have a gazillion gray hairs now, and I'm only 17.

after talkin to icepik and checking out some major and schools, i might want to major in the "law" field now. i work in a shop currently and i Hate being dirty and all, and if i continue with auto and study auto enginnering, i still have to get dirty some how.

people if you think you wanna get into auto mech, or enginnering, you'll have to be willing to get dirty.
