didnt do as good as i wanted. i really wanted to hit 13's which i know i can do. i had a prblem above 4500rpm the car would sputter . i think it might be the fuel line betweent he fmu and fuel rain is like 12" long and/or the idle fuel pressure is set a lil high. im hittin 10psi so with the fmu that adds 70 extra pound of fuel pressure ontop of the 43 i have the idle at. before the turbo idle was at like 30-35 so im goint to turn it down a lil. other than that the only problem is my launch. im goin to be gettin a ghighstall torque converter made as soon as possible.

the 60' is killing me. i trapped at 103 on a different run its jsut that sputtereing that really screwin me up. i was at 10psi but my egt's never went past 1400 degrees.

im thinking it is a fuel issue also. wasnt the nsport only designed for 7 psi?

yea the wastegate is onyl suppose to be 5-7 psi my boost gauge is sayin 10 psi. i've heard stories of the deltagate sticking shut but not opening late exactly the same every time. who knows

yea the delta wastegate is one of the weak points of the nsport kit. that would be one of the first parts i would replace

true true. Remember your engine DOES have 120K on it. By the way structure i didn't know you went to County. I was on my way to class at Madison this morning and i saw your car. Hmmm, what are freshmen?

i can hit 10psi without sputtereing its jsut at about 5000rpm when i notice it. the thing is my egt's are gettint oo high so its not running lean. and my engine is still strong i did a leakdown test on it and it didnt leak too mcuh. yea i want to order a tial today since i have a lil extra time and get a price on a hight stall torque converter. i think i will keept he auto til this engine blows then do the 5 spd swap with the built enigne im pickin up on saturday.

i also have a auto 240 , do you have any problems with the car spinning the tires when it spools up or is traction about the same? and how much hp would you say you have with the nsport kit, they claim 240hp at the wheels

i have vlsd and 255 tires in the back and they will spin high in the rev's but just a lil nothin to have to worry about. i couldnt tell u how much horsepower i have and i have nothin to relate it to. im hopin to get on a dyno sometime soon. i'm goin to a place wiht one on tuesdya to talk to them about gettin some time in

Im the grey one with the blown fan clutch. I would start on my car but im transffering out next semester to Temple and im a have to chip in on the Temple bill. You know the whole speach on "it's abnout time that you start being responsible" thing. Got to save the money otherwise i would have alot of things done to my car right now ie. engine swap, (N/A SR and build it up to around 260hp{something different against the norm}, 2 way LSD, light weight flywheel, clutch and detail of the body)

hay structure your 240 is an auto right?,when i usally race people its usually a second gear punch at about 40mph and im in second gear at about 3800rpm, if i hit it like that am i going to spin the tires with the nsport kit,i know its kinda a dumb question but im trying to get an idea of what its going to be like when i get the kit on,u know is it worth 4000

god damn anothony i saw pictures on your website.. so sweet man. I remember when you came over my house last time that body kit was missing something.. now you have a huge innercooler and everything looks right. Better luck next time at the track.. we gatta hang out again sometime I want to feel a turbo 240.. maybe even race me again.. haha blow my doors off this time.

At the tracks i go to, an r/t of .491 is a redlight. what happened. were you racing a different class? Its odd that your 60 ft is so slow. My NA 60 ft was 2.23. You must not be getting grip or making much low end torque. What did you launch @?

donavan - ita depends a lot on ur tires and if u have a lsd or not. i dont really have a problem at all with traction

sleeper - they dont have redlights for jsut the regualr people that show up. i had an r/t of like .180 without a redlight. and about the 60' idk. n/a i was gettin 2.4's too. now it could be from my big wheels the fact that i retarded timing 2 degrees about and jsut turbo lag. takes a lil to start spooling. and u know im an auto right? power braking at 1800 rpm's doesnt give u a great launch. ill be gettin a high stall torque converter made very shortly. the shop already closed yesterday for the hoilday so i have to wait til tuesday to call.

hey structure do you have any other performance mods besides the nspot kit? i have a apexi n1 exhuast thats 75mm 3in pipe and ive lost power with it n/a but with the nsport turbo kit ill finally get good use of a 3in pipe! other than that all i have is a underdrive pulley and intake and afc

i have intake,header,underdrive pulley,afc,and a apexi n1 exhuast,and a auto trasnny, my car made 138hp at the wheels,so another 100 to the wheels with the nsport kit is going to be real nice!!:ylsuper i just think 3in for a n/a car is a lkittle to big,i think the 3in with the nsport kit will give me a little more hp,ill realy be able to get the full adv of the 3in diameter.the underdrive pully may help a little with getting it to spool up off the line with the automatic trans,and you cant drive around without an intake , thats just not right1! so as you can tell im more than excited about the extra ponies,my car is finnaly going to do what it was made for-hual ***!!!

i have 91 240sx cams intake and exhuast then jsut GP sports spec D 3" exhuast. its 3" from the turbo all the to the end of the muffler. im tryin to decide between jsut gettin an asp pulley or gettin the UR ultra SS set. right now im tryin to upgrade my fuel system.

that wasnt the bad part. its was in april when they told me back order was 1-2 weeks so i sent them my money order. they received it on may 3rd, had a delivery confirmation, but i didnt receive my kit until august 21st. thats a really big ouch

hey structure do you think im betteroff ordering it from a distributer,that has it stocked or do they go throught nsport when someone orders one,i really dont want to wait 3 monthes to get it ,but if its worth it i guess ill have too what do you suggest:help

the kit gets shipped directly from nsport. u order it through a dealer then they process the order to nsport. they then assemble the kit and send it to you. just call nsport and make sure they arent on back order. right now would prob be a good time since i jsut got mine. they were waiting for the intercooler for a while.
