Sean8564, there is a track in Noble, Oklahoma. I believe it will probably be about 2.5 hours North of you. Isnt the Texas Mile in you general area as well? If you go to the one in Noble, let me know, Id love to see an RB26 powered S-chassis in person.

Insane. Only 0.061 to go before 11s.

Do you have any times with street tires?

Street tires would probably yield me mid-high 13s lol. I have no traction what-so-ever with my street tires. Next time I go, I will try with the street tires, once or twice just to see the results.

But yes, and next time I do go, I will have a decent spring/strut combo. I am looking into the Koni yellow inserts and the RS*R springs. I think this would be a good, semi stiff suspension for the track. I don't do any major autocrossing or drifting, so coilovers are not needed for my application.

My buddy and I custom fabbed it ourselves. Bought some 2.5" mandrel bends, four 2.5" 2-bolt exhaust flanges with seals, and some bolts and went to work on it. Didn't take but a couple of hours to do. Once you get that front turbo down-pipe portion to clear the steering column, the rest is pie.

Once I take out the down-pipe for any reason, I'll take photos of it for everyone to take a look. It isn't 100% perfect, but probably about 90% perfect. And hey, with almost running in the high 11s, it seems to be doing its job lol......

Tire pressure was at 17 lbs. Kinda high, but wanted to keep some top end there.

60' times were 17.5 ish, give or take a few tenths on each run. My 60' times are decent to me. It is my darn reaction times I need to work on.

Yes, it was at Commerce. Temps were about 80ish degrees.

quick questin, were you power shifting (not releasing throttle, stabbing clutch) or were you just shifting as fast as you could normally (releasing throttle briefly, stabbing clutch)?

I was releasing he throttle at every single shift point. I am revving the engine at 5000 and dropping the clutch. So I am already killing the clutch that much, I don't want to kill it anymore while going down the strip lol.....

Although, I may try that. I have heard of a few people doing that. Do you still press the clutch pedal and shift? Or do you just jam it into gear?

You should be in the 14's easy. 15.5 is something you can do with a KA + bolt ons. Try again.

With some suspension, you'll be in the 12's easy, your suspension is probably dead, I know all of my 95's were. 26 now Sean, you've only had the 25 for 2 weeks, was it because the vert left your's? Turbo Upgrade time, the 25's got potential.

My understanding of power shifting is staying on the throttle while you puch the clutch and select the next gear.... VERY quickly. I've seen a lot of people power-shift at redline, meaning they bounce of the rev limiter while they shift, but i don't like that. I figure where i usually shift, take off 500 rpm to compensate the fact that i am on the throttle as the clutch is disengaged and quickly shift. I say give it a try, so you can get a feel for it then post back w/ some high 11's!!! man i wish i had the '26 instead of the '20 lol. Good luck
