so i bought my zenki about 2 weeks ago. the day after i got it i set it down on some apexi n1 dampers and g35 wheels and threw in a j30 diff. a week ago i got an eastwood fender roller and rolled my fenders and put on a 5mm spacer and got the wheels pretty flush and looked really nice. 2 days ago my exhaust came in, hks hi power, put it on and went out and played in the rain on some backroads. had lots of fun listening to the new exhaust and playin in the rain. went home and was spending time with the girlfriend, we decided to go get a movie. this is where my night went downhill. we came up on a redlight where a new 4runner was sitting waiting for green. i dunno if my depth perception went retarded or what but i thought i had plenty of room to stop. i applied my brakes normally at first and when i reallized that holy sh** im way too close to this 4runner and pushed the brakes a lil harder it was too late. i fu**ed up. brakes locked and i slid into the 4runner, i watched as my hood buckled. we pull over into a parking lot and look at the damage. my hood is buckled, upper core support buckled, headlight brackets and corner light brackets broken completely, and my bumper got a few scratches. the 4runner had a 2 inch by 4 inch scuff on the lower part of the bumper. owned. honestly i couldnt have hit nicer people though, i did get very lucky there. they didnt wanna call the cops, so we didnt. i offered to pay cash for the damage, they offered a ride to the atm. i gave em my info and 200 dollars which is what we came up with to be fair and we went on our way. very nice people. now on to my car- since i needed pretty much everything but fenders and have always loved kouki's, i figured i might as well go ahead and just do the kouki front conversion. so today i went to the local nissan dealership and ordered the core support, both fenders, hood, and bumper. i also bought a set of kouki lights and corners from j3t in the classifieds. so very soon hopefully the 240 will be back on the road sexier than ever. until then im stuck drivin the daily, an 07 tc. 5spd, lowered with tein s. techs, and a b&m shifter. not a bad daily at all, but not at all my 240. so enough with my depressed rant here are the pics of my mistake-

trust me, that's nothing to fix, drill out the spot weld and tack&seal another support in.

reminds me of my first accident. clean car though, you know you were going to replace all that stuff anyways

Sucks, that you had an accident so soon. Even sadder that you are converting to Kouki.

That being said....

I want your Zenki bumper and lip. Name your price.

the bumper has a crack in it where it connects to the fender, i wouldnt consider it worth anything. but the lip is for sale, 60 shipped?

that sucks man. But on the up side, you have an excuse to make it even purtier. "When you f*** s*** up, fix it better" - a quote from some old fart I met one time.....DEEP
