you know, 7k for this car seems unreal. Knowing the quality work that was done to it.

She's been passed around quite a bit in the past couple of years. I thought she was still here in the Valley. last I heard, she was in storage. The wheels are different.

I'd almost like to buy her back for the simple fact that I never got to drive her.

7k

If I wasn't moving/buying a house in the near future I'd pick it up myself. Hell I remember when we did the original 5 spd conversion in Greg's old house!

I hope this doesn't end up as a drift car...that would upset me to no end.

James, go buy it. You know you've got the cash just lying around.

Why is it that both times this car has been for sale, that I can't buy it?

$7k is a hell of a deal for that thing, but the sad thing is some kid will probably buy it and fook it up. Someone here needs to buy it before it meets a pole and is sold for parts :frown:

Matt, you know you've got the money and the garage space(if your wife would let you have it back :rotfl ). Quit being a tightwad and buy it. You can store it at my house if you need to ;)

Is it really that awesome?

I'm betting I can probably talk them down from 7k a bit, then just make a better craigslist ad or ebay ad and flip it for a decent profit. If it had a top, I'd be a lot more interested. It would also be nice if I didn't already have 2 other 240s, and 2 other cars.

It makes perfect logical sense. You'll have a KA-t coupe for when its cold and a KA-t vert for when its sunny. LOGIC!

Be cool if you designed one of those removable hardtops like the Miata has.

That would be pretty sweet... but in reality it would probably take forever to make and it would come out like s*** hahah.

Dropping 7 grand would dip into my Corvette fund a bit.

Yeah man.

I want to drive the C7, but it'll be either that or a C6. If I decided I want the C7, I'll wait until the 2nd model year to pick one up so as to dodge all the typical first model year problems.

I'm also anxious to see what Nissan is going to do with the Z. I need to get rid of one car though. I'll probably end up combining my 2 240s and selling one of them.

Looks like the dude dropped the price to $6500. It would be about a 5 hour drive for me.

The C7 seems like such a win right now. I dont know if you've seen the video where the head engineer talks about the whole car, its definitely not a boring video.

But c'mon a $6500 500hp NicoGal? You know you want.

The current Z doesn't really compare with the C5, C6, and certainly not the C7 vette. It isn't a bad performer, but the engine is dated. I'd definitely like something I can take on road trips, and for that, the vette just makes more sense.

That drivetrain has at least $6500 in it. Hell, the machine work was almost 2g's.

So Ben and krash, what are you guys up to this weekend? If I go to look at the car, I'll need a wingman/possibly someplace to store my car for a day or so.
