i hope it's possible for you to repairs the damage....i can see great potential in the car...goofynick6 wrote:I was cruising too fast, if I wasn't then I wouldn't have put it into a ditch...right? Gotta watch loose gravel and bad pavement when you're boosting...
Anyway, I'm considering selling my whole engine swap setup together with ecu/Trans/clutch/alum. fly/bov/emulator..blah blah, dunno
Tomorrow I determine if I will repair the damages or not...we'll see.

Sounds like a good time to get some battle gear stuff on the front of the car.goofynick6 wrote:Trooper said I was "probably going a little hotter into the corner than 35", but when you get pulled for a speeding ticket, you don't say "yea, I was doing 80 in that 55"..ya know?
I'm working on fixing it up now. If anyone has any of these parts, it would be a great help:
Driver front lower control armDriver front tc rodPassenger tie rod
Thanks!
We did a little bit of measuring on it, the front end is square as can be. Also no stress at the rear quarters. gotta get under it a little bit more and check everthing out, but i dont think it will need a frame machine. I think what saved the frame was the lack of a bumper support. when he hit the intercooler there was no stress on the bumper support and no torsion on the frame.cvc9216 wrote:first thing you need to do is put that thing on a frame machine. looks fixable though. I think I have a lca and tc rod, I'll check tomorrow.
good to know!! i should be credited as to persuading you to keep it lol eheheh next time keep it cool around gravel areagoofynick6 wrote:Thanks guys. I'm getting in onto a frame machine next week to have it checked out. I got the new lca and tc rod and will have it back running and driving again by the end of this week when the new fmic comes in.
