and yes, the evo 8 is pretty much the evo 7. if anything, it should be called the EVO 6.5 since they downgraded slightly from the EVO 7. in no means, should i be called the 8. and by the way, have you guys seen its now officially "EVOLUTION 8" not, "EVOLUTION VIII" !!!! how depressing is that! thats the most depressing change they made! lol (im serious)

I know what you mean about the "Evo 8." At least they won't have a problem when they get to the "Evo XXIV" (to quote SCC):)

Just curious, but do you think the Evo's power will be underrated again? They said it was 278 in Japan (gentlemen's agreement) but it put down about 300 awhp stock. Do you think the US 271 hp is underrated?

Personally I think the latest generation of Lancer is the most boring design to date :(

Saw quite a few EVO VIII's back in Scotland during December/January. Can't say the design makes me want to buy one at all.

Much prefer the two previous generations of Lancer for looks.

I personally liked the Roman Numeral System for the car names... gave it something other cars didn't have :P

I still think the EVO IV-VI are the best looking. 8 is definately better than VII though, imo.

i doubt thats going to be underrated its probably dead on. On some of the lancer forums it said the hp is drasticly dropped(in reality) because of emmisions in the us. however the like 4 theyve had in california for the last 4-5 months supposedly respond disgustingly well to mods.

I agree with everything you said. The only thing I dislike on the new Evo is the tail lights. But I'm sure those can be changed.

I like the evil monkey in you avatar. Family Guy right?

They are. I just read the new SCC, and they're officially releasing one in the US. It gonna be called the EVO 8. It's pretty sweet. Approx. 276HP and like 263tq. Recaro seats and all that jazz. It should be around 30K, is what they said.

I'd rather buy and M3 or and S4 :) :) :)

you do know they dont make s15's anymore, so you wont' find a "brand new" one like right off the assembly line.

yeah, I have every episode :D

I actually just watched Ready, Willing and Disabled this afternoon (the one where they explain that the monkey wasn't always evil). I love that monkey. I wonder if the DVDs are going to have any special features like behind the scenes stuff, maybe they would explain the evil monkey :ylsuper
