One night a couple years ago, I was in my 95 Mazda 626 coming home from the lake with some friends at 1am. In the distance I saw a spiny thing, a porcupine, and assumed it would move. Eventually I came to a full stop and parked right in the middle of this dark two-lane road.

I thought the thing was dead and was prepared to go out and kick it off into a ditch, when the son of a biitch started moving! It went toward my car so I got in front of it, intercepted it, and chased it, somewhat slowly and awkwardly, into a ditch.

I saw the same exact thing not too long ago, except it involved a possum and a semi. NO CHANCE for the possum. He squirmed for about 10 seconds before he croaked.

thanks for the post that had nothing to do with anything hitman....way to stay on topic. Anyway, when I was going to Italy, I stopped in Germany and as soon as I got off the plane at Frankfurst Airport, there was a newspaper that said in huge bold lettering DIE ALLIEZ .... awesome. Crazy german's with their nazi innuendo's.

I parked my old Z30 one day at high school, with the T-tops off and stashed in the hatchback. It was sunny out so I left the tops off and the windows down, and went out to cross-country practice.

A few hours later I came back after practice was over, went up to the Datsun and there were T-tops on the car. An exact match.

My original ones were still in the bags in the hatch. I have no idea where the extra ones came from, who put them on there, or why. None of my friends ever fessed up to playing this bizarre prank on me, either. I kept both sets and eventually sold the extra one. It reminded me too much of the Monkey's Paw.

Even though my dog does some pretty weird things. The best was in the parking lot of a liquor store in Muncie Indiana. A severe thunderstorm was brewing up (no pun intended). I got out of my now sister in law's car. The billboard above us was swaying back and forth like a metronome. We started to walk into the liquor store when a sign (like those that people put in their yards that say "lordy lordy such and such is forty) was moving down the street. Sparks were flying from the legs (had no wheels) as the sign went down the street and made a left hand turn. We just walked behind it and followed it for a while. It was a VERY surreal moment. Later that night the roof of one of the dorm complexes was ripped off by the wind and a transformer was hit over by the Math building and the sky turned this neon green color. Needless to say we really didn’t need to drink that night. I was not sure if Repoman was with me that night. I know he and his roommates were chasing tornadoes to catch them on film.

I know Repoman has some crazy **** that he has seen. Nothing beats our friend blowing up his Sig at the shooting range at Fort Knox. Cant remember if Repoman was there for this one, but I know I wasnt. A group of our friends were driving down the interstate in the sticks. They got this great idea to discharge their weapons (at night) while they were driving. I know this isnt funny, but these guys thought they were Federalis or something. Freaking banditos. lol

I sure hope he wasn't looking to start a scrap.

Anyway, wierdest thing: I was in Gulf Shores, AL when the "phosphorescent tide" occurred. It's a natural phenomenon that only happpens like once every 100 years (?). Look it up - it's interesting.

It's caused by a proliferation, or "bloom" of this certain algae in the water that emits light (like a lightning bug). Anyway, at night, wherever the water splashes or breaks or is "disturbed", it glows BRIGHT green (like one of those glow sticks). If you scoop up some of the water in a jar and take it inside, and shake it in a dark room, it lights up the room. At night, you could pick up a handful of wet sand and throw it, and where it landed would flash bright green... Soooo cool!

The coolest part - Walking down the beach that night, our footprints glowed in the wet sand.

It was really amazing and one of the wierdest/coolest things I've seen.

wow, that does sound badass. So Iam guessing the water keeps glowing long after you take it? When is the next one suppose to happen?

Yeah - My little sis and I took some water home the next day (we thought it would keep glowing), but that night it didn't work.

When we opened the jars to dump out the water, it smelled SO DAMN bad! My dad was pissed because it stunk up the whole house. :)

Not sure about how often it occurs or if it's predictable or just an infrequent phenomena. Someone could probably look it up on google or something...

Was driving down the street in my neighborhood with a friend. In a school playground we saw two kids fighting. I turned around to go see what was up. When I got there, two cars pulled up, prudently took the two away in separate cars, and disappeared.

The craziest thing was in high school they passed a rule that no one could drive off campus for lunch. Well lots of kids had bicycles and they would just take off for lunch. Well the school decided that too many people were leaving for lunch so what they did is install two poles at the end of the entrance and exit to the parking lot and hung a steel wire tightly between the two poles. Just like a tennis court but without the net. Well I was sitting outside after gym class at about 3:00 because that’s when junior high go out of school. Well here comes one kid riding ahead of the crowd trying to get home. Well the kid hit that steel cable so hard it flung him back maybe 25 feet. His bike on the other hand kept going until it hit a car. We all got a big laugh.Poor kidAfter that they painted the cable orange and tied orange plastic strips to it.

I was watching a "Ghost Stories" type show, and it was about a house that had a resident ghost that was slowly turning hostile... unidentfiable scratches showing up on people you know, the steryotypical(sp?) stuff.

Anyway, there was a part of a home video during a thunderstorm out their window. Lightning was striking maybe 200 yards from the house in the same spot, with a bout a 3 second delay in between strikes, which is weird in itself, but there was no thunder! It was incredibly bizarre.

I also saw that glowing tide thingy. It's so incredibly cool! The reason it doesn't work in a jar the next day is because all the algae dies.
