I've recently noticed odd cross shaped ( + ) marks on the leather front seats in my 2014 Rogue SL. One prominent cross mark (an inch or so across) appears on each of the four lower cushion side bolsters, about mid thigh. They are definitely NOT from anything I (or my passenger) have worn or otherwise placed on the seats. If you press lightly on the mark, you can tell it is just highlighting a similar + shaped cut/indentation in the underlying seat cushion. I've had many cars with heated leather seats and I've never seen anything like this before.

I'll hit it with some leather conditioner and post before and after pics this weekend. I was just wondering if anyone else has similar marks on their leather seats?

I'll be sure to include a photo w/ the original post next time! Sheesh! ;)

The mark is much more prominent in person and occurs on all four lower bolsters. It also seems worse when there is high humidity. I didn't use any leather conditioner yet. I'll post another picture when I do.

It's perfectly normal. You may not know this, but the seats aren't 100% leather. Anyway, it's just the way these seats are.

I see I'm not the only one with the seatbelt latch rubbing againt the center console. I'll try taping a piece of soft cloth on the inside part of the latch and limit the damage.

I would think a piece of electrical tape would suffice.

Back to Earthwateruser, could be the foam underneath was not thick enough. Hopefully someone else with your model year will chime in and say if they see it as well. otherwise if you really want to check stop by a dealer and look at a few rogues.

Could also just be that God is protecting you :chuckle:
