alright finally i'm updating and a lot has happened since my last update. i'm still focusing on the door panels but decided to go a whole different way with it. i wasnt happy w/ the method i tried, that is used by other nico members as well, so i decided to try a whole new way. i'll be doing a whole write up thread on it so i wont go into huge detail here, but in a nutshell, i cut teh door in pieces wrapped it w/ carpet and put it back together. more on that later but heres a few pics from the progress

i also got a wedding gift from my friend (only 6 months late) lol, in his defense the shipping company kept saying my address didnt exist and kept sending it back, but here it is. a CS coolant overflow

that will be going on shortly along with a new thermostat . yep that right, on my way home from classes for the last time this semester the thermostat went out and it started to overheat just as i was pulling into the nissan dealer to pic up a part. i let it cool down, limped it home, and went to pick up a new thermostat then i also have my piece from nissan to install, a new motor for the washer squirters, so i can finally use em to clean my windshield off.

i just need to get the brackets for my q45 brake calipers and then im ready to put em on. im going to order those brackets shortly so i can finally get the brakes on, but heres the calipers painted nice and black

i am making a little project on my custom fitted zune dock station and heres a few pics from thatin case u cant tell its going to be mounted in the ash tray location. better pics and progress coming soon

i still need to put the silverstars in, i was just too busy w/ school and work but now i have plenty of time so they will be in soon. i'll be making more progress tomorrow and i'll leave u w/ some random pics i found, enjoy

mine was mounted by the last owner w/ screws but im gonna redo it w/ double sided tape

yeah and the a/f gauge is a narrow band

the door panels are coming out pretty good. i've never done any fiberglassing before but this is a god first project since its on the back of the door and u wont see how it looks

are u talking about the difference in color between the wrapped part of the door panels and the rest of it?

Did you get your vent pod for your gauges from ebay? I just ordered it from ebay and was wondering how you mounted it. Does it fit snug enough where you dont have to worry about it popping out? How are your gauges mounted to the pod? or does the gauge fit really snug in the holes?

Yeah i was thinking of using strong double sided tape to hold the gauges to the holder in the back. It should work just fine.

yep they're faze gauges, there were some in the car when i bought it so i figured i'd keep the theme and get em all faze

yep its an ebay one and idaho is right. the gauges have a bracket that slides on the back and u tighten it down against the pod. right now the pod is just sitting in there and it stays in place pretty well. i'll probably just use double sided tape or a few dabs of glue on the back. i didnt want to secure it in before i got the other gauges thoguh
