yeah, it wasnt bad i guess. when u see it all that color or in person, its a little overpowering. its a little too light imo. i was going for a daytona blue shade but that blue on the car was custom mixed up and it looked darker in the can

$600 shipped and used. got em from jspec.com. u wont see em listed on the page jsut email em, i think new ones are $800, just ask and if they dont have em sam can get em in im sure, he's great to deal with when buying jdm parts

fairly big update coming later tonight. ive got a ton of pics and progress to record. im just checking nico right now cuz im waiting for fiberglass to dry (thats the only hint you get as to what im doing) feel free to speculate on what im working on

i am thinking about doing a Q45 brake upgrade. but i am havign a hard time deciding between. replacing all of my rotors with brembo drilled and slotted rotors, and new brake pads al lthe way around plus SS brake lines.

which would be better do you think.

dont worry about drilled and slotted, for the street and mild track time u wont need it. and ppl argue over whether its good or bad for the car. if u get brand new q45 rotors u will be surprised at how well it stops. i just new factory style rotors, new calipers and SS lines. as soon as i get em on i'll let u know how it performs

sorry for not updating last night, i fell asleep super early. im uploading pics right now for the update

Get the q45 calipers!!! Don't worry about the drilled and slotted rotors, unless you have tons of problems w/ brake fade. its always better to upgrade! just to let you know my buddies drilled rotors are starting to crack (he does beat on his car pretty good tho). But you wont be disappointed w/ the q's. I bought the rotors from fastbrakes.com because of having 4 lug. I have drilled and slotted in the rear and just slotted up front (cause I was afraid of cracking and didn't care about the rears as much since they only do a little of the braking work). I bought them cause at the time I had an overabundance of $. If its ok w/ W.C. I'll post pics for you all.

sorry i didnt mean to be confusing. let me try again. the stopping advantage will be great over the stock ones. u dont need drilled or slotted rotors, especially not for a street car. some people argue that the drilled and slotted are bad for your pads as well. just did what i did, get new factory rotors, new calipers, pads and SS lines

yeah but brembo makes parts for cars that see serious race time. on teh street not only will they not be necessary but could also cause the pads to crack and dry up. it doesnt matter who makes em a drilled and slotted design istn very ideal for a car that sees mostly street time

The type X front is not my style at all; but regardless of my own personal taste, you are doing a wonderful job, and it is going to look amazing!

Keep up the work, and post another HUGE photo spread!
