my brother's is aztec red not hot red like your old one and my current one is. this is a slightly different shade. duplicolor bright red looks like it'll match nicely

Nice maxey. Good to see you joining Cody. I'm sure you can figure out who's who by now err... who I am. I mean how many sexitime midnight blue 240's are there?

Hoping you enjoy the 240 as much as we all do. Take your time and research everything before you buy and you'll have no regrets (most likely lol)!Alright that's all I'm going to say so I don't ramble, welcome to Nico!

the car looks clean in pics but the exterior is pretty rough. its still in good overall shape and just needs a little tlc. theres plans for q45 brakes, nismo shift knob, light up ignition key ring, new shift boot and some other minor things. he plans on going sr eventually, but i'll let him say more abotu his plans when he's on next

Dude wackawacka posted in your thread. Win. Hey Maxey's nightshade job makes a zenki look cool again. IMO... I mean maybe there's a bit too much black for the policia to like but hopefully not.

i'll update this thread since it'll be a smaller update then my build. the last few days i had to focus more on my brother's s13 since my dad wanted it out of the shop to work on his chevelle. cody's s13 couldnt sit outside without the hatch on in case of bad weather. so for the past 2 days i worked on the hatch and finished the front bumper as well. i'm going to apologize in advance, a lot of the pics came out terrible cuz my step brother in law messed with my camera and its all sorts of messed up now.

first off the front bumper. i'm sure you noticed the the passenger side corner where lots of the paint was scratched off down to the yellow. apparently a few owners back they must have hit something. no dents or real damage to the bumper but scratched up a little, so Cody sanded it and then taped it off.

after taping it off i took it outside and primered it. i should mention that the reason i had to do most of the work is because Cody has soccer practice for 9 hours a day monday through friday this week. so its not his fault that i had to do the work.

after it was primered i gave it a 1500grit sand then gave it 3 coats of color. i then sanded the top coat of color with 1500 grit and applied the clear coatafter 3 coats of clear it was finished and ready to be wetsanded/buffed/whatever. and i must say i'm really pleased with the finished product. the paint matches great and the quality is pretty good for rattle can.

and heres a pic that might have come out better since i used a different camerathe black vent pieces give it a fresh look and we thought about painting the chuki lip with a fresh coat of black, but its not worth it since its pretty beat.

i didn't have as much luck with the hatch. the humidity caused the paint to lay really splotchy. so it needs repainted as soon as the humidity goes down a little. but i did get the wiring for the hatch done. originally the wires going into the car were cut but i spliced everything back together and wrapped it neatly with the grommets in place so its ready to go. i'll have to snap a pic of the newly finished wiring but this is the only hatch pic i have

thats all for now theres more in the works, so we'll see what happens next.

great rattle-can job. I cant wait until you take some high res shots in the sun so then we can really see how good it blends and matches the other paint.

great job and gives me intentions of rattle-canning my whole car
